That's why you don't ship with Russian Post, you ship with private delivery services.

I once ordered something from Russia and it took 2 weeks for the package to get where I'm at. I didn't think it was extraordinarily long considering it was shipped from the opposite side of the world. When I order things from within the U.S., the delivery time is usually 3-5 days. I think 2-weeks is an acceptable time. :D

My worst experiences are ordering from Lithuania to the UK, but that was most likely due to the e-bay seller rather than the postal service.

Does anybody want to try to get some group activity/game going?

Feel free to crucify me first.

Good to hear from you. I'm not really into that stuff anymore, but maybe someone else here will be interested?

Me neither, sorry. I wish I still had the time for all that jazz, but life becomes more and more busy.

Speaking of busy, remember how I had very few hairstyle options in TW3, Bamul? I realized now, after all this time, that there's a free hairstyle-DLC.. :p

Haha, that explains it. :p I think it was the first of the free DLCs to come out, so most people (myself included) completely forgot about it and just treated it as part of the game at launch... that and I played it like 1 or 2 months after release due to studies at the time, so most of the free DLCs were like part of the base game for me heh

Will this be another of your awesome, made-up games? :)
I'm not really motivated in doing anything right now (my lack of posts in the current RP shows for it), but I might be up for it if a small storm of people hop on the band wagon. 4088

    Edit (several hours later):

There's an abandoned apartment complex that is only a 3 minute walk, from my house. It's eerrie. It's Cheeki. And it's breeki. It's like a mini Pripyat. I don't know why it became abandoned. My friend and I walked around and we found food products, children's toys, books, clothing....Just, left behind. The doors and windows are covered up with see-through plastic. We went through one of the back doors which didn't have any covering. Every dark corner that I turned inside the apartment, I was hoping that a squatter wasn't gonna pop up and smack me across the head with a lead pipe. When we backtracked out, we passed in front of the main door and saw a sign posted over saying:

"Danger. Asbestos!! Protective clothing and respirator required beyond this point."

'kurwa,' I thought to myself. We left after some more searching, and I'm hoping to return by next weekend to take some pictures.

    That's amazing :D
I expect you to bring a Gas mask either way, but never the less, I'm gonna go ahead and say do bring a gas mask. Asbestos is dangerous stuff, you don't wanna end up with lung cancer before you hit 30 :painkiller: Also, the cosplay-photos you're gonna take for us in that building won't be as awesome without the gas masks ;)

I've long used the "word" "see-through", and felt stupid everytime I wrote it. So eventually I decided "Damn it, there's gotta be an actual word for this!", and thus I learned the sacred secret of the word of see-throughable objects: Transparent! :fish:

Urban exploration is pretty cool. Also, anyone who thinks "kurwa" in situations like that is awesome. :p

Hey, Bamul, I have a lil' question for you. When I was in Poland, I ate a lot of different meals, but two of them had these pepper-fruits in slices in them, and they tasted really good. Unfortunately I failed at finding them in the grocery stores. I was thinking since you're polish, and you're the pickle-expert, you might have a clue what type of pepper-fruit it is? It was green and pretty small, with a dense ammount of beige/pink pale seeds inside.

I know this sounds weird, but they were just so damn tasty, and I want to buy them!

Yeah, gasmask. Unfortunately, my filter is an old one and, ever since Bamul mentioned the potential of old filters containing asbestos, I'm a bit concerned. Double dose of death if so. However, I've been reading that the filter that I have (I think it's the kind used for a GP-5 Mask) didn't use asbestos during its production. However, there's the potential of other harmful products that once can breathe since the material of the filter is so old. I'll still wear the mask itself, though, and maybe one of those dust-particle masks for when I'm just wondering around just so I don't breathe in junk :)

    hahaha  You'z geniuz

;) never would have learned the word if you didn't make mention of it 4098

As far as I know, and I don't know all that much, it had never been confirmed nor denied whether the old GOST 40mm filters actually had asbestos in them. The post 82 models I'm pretty sure don't, but don't quote me on that XD the filter almost definitely wouldn't work anymore anyway, and GP-5s weren't the most perfect at getting a full seal, so some asbestos could get into the mask. Still, it's not like you'd be exposed to enough for long enough to develop respiratory problems, and the degraded filter would probably need several hours of constant use for any materials to cause much problem

Hopefully so. I've used it with the filter before and didn't notice any foul smell or felt as if there was any dust going into my nose (not like asbestos has a smell). I also read that these filters can contain activated charcoal, which, according to some sources on forums, can be bad. However, in my medical text book, it talks about administering activated charcoal to patients with gastrointestinal issues. Huh. The world will never know. I guess there isn't enough necessity to do test on an antiquated filter anyway. The only potential group at risk are those who cosplay S.T.A.L.K.E.R./Metro 2033.
