Creative or Survival?

I like survival the best, especially with friends and when it's modded, so then anything can be possible, and there's thousands of things to do. Survival hardcore is also great, and provides and actual threat that motivates you, and adrenaline pumps through your body at every step.

 

The gamemode I'm playing in usually depends on what I want to do with the world. Most of my creative world end up being filled with redstone stuff I've made, while most of my survival worlds have massive houses, but the houses really don't look that nice, they're like big cubes with other big cubes sticking out of them (because I feel like extending the house )

 

I play on creative because survival becomes repetitive really quickly. On creative you can build what ever you want! But in survival it takes hours to build nice structures. I play survival with friends though.

 

I started playing since the late alpha and things were pretty unbalanced back then in my opinion, monsters would kill you pretty fast, it would be a bit more difficult to gather provisions in time to construct your weapons and so on and so I played on creative in order to build my structures and then I would turn Survival on to fight off the hordes of zombies.

 

When I'm bored I play Surivival because it's more exciting but when I feel like I wanted to do something really cool I go and play Creative.

 

It depends.In multiplayer, definitely survival. But in single player, I just find survival boring as there is no-one to survive with/against, only computer generated mobs. Creative is fun in single player as I have freedom and create anything I want. I enjoy this more ONLY when I'm playing alone and want to kill some time.

Survival is the way to go for me! I really love exploring, gathering resources, surviving, building things with the materials that I've colected and also the combat with all the monsters!
If I get bored and want to build something extremely big or test out a thing before I build it in my survival world, I just go on creative and start building!

 

Survival all the way. I don't really see the point for creative mode unless you need to try something out before you do it in the real game. Especially if it's something that requires rare parts that you can't afford to waste. It's been a very long time since the last time I did anything in the creative mode. Like I said, it's pretty much a pointless mode to have.

 

I play on Creative when I am not with friends, which is rare. I also play on that when I want to try and design something to see if it'll work, especially with redstone. Otherwise, its usually with friends, so that is always Survival.

 

It depends. I really enjoy both, although vanilla is a bit bland for me now. I absolutely love survival in mod packs though such as Voltz, especially in multiplayer servers where you choose teams, build secret bases and basically first to find and destroy the other base wins. Creative is really fun too though, sometimes. Especially on multiplayer servers where I want to help contribute to the world or just want to build something nice for myself.
