This is upsetting. After reading that tweet and the article on last light pre order being refunded to playstation customers I really want to sit in a corner and cry. I have been looking forward to this game sooooooo long like the rest of you. I guess I am just impatient. Seems like the game is done and its gold so they should have started mass producing it Or it was very very close and deepsilver decided to add/change some things with the game, Who knows. I just want updates everyday on whats going on.

 

The reason for the pre-order being cancelled is highly unlikely because of a delay in the release date.
The reason for it being cancelled and refunded, is because of disagreements between the publisher and the fans about the Limited Edition. (The fact that you don't get Ranger Hardcore difficulty if you don't pre-order).

 

At least that's we assume... or, to be more honest, what we hope. We don't really know why it happened until Maurice visits the forum again and confirms (or denies) our theory... I really hope we're right, because this just got my hopes up.

 

Yeah I just have a feeling it has nothing to do with the bad pre order deal. I think it will be delayed because of the switch to deepsilver but damn I need some updates I am withdrawing from metro last light news!

well damn they better the preorder some stuff if they getting rid of limited editon and as long as it is steamworks i still preorder too lazy to drive to target to buy it plus i threw all my gift cards away so it would suck lol

Often the opinions of such people carry much weight and therefore buying decisions.

Unfortunately that's the way the business works. People who have upto 1 million subscribers will get noticed.

Man I wish this game had co-op there is nothing more I'd like to game with another 3 forum members whilst we watch "The Stalker" fall down a Lurker's hole whilst panicking after seeing a Spider. :laugh:

 

If there is a delay (I'm not completely sure that there will be.) maybe it is because they are re-implementing Mulitplayer/Co-Op.

I'm not either. Metro would be an amazing multiplayer or co-op experience.

 

Skaara is a Baby Dark One, he is afraid that if 2 rangers in Co-op who are immune to their affects attack that they will finally be wiped of the planet, because Arytom didn't do the job properly in 2033.

Only if it were exactly the same as the single player gameplay, only against other players. I would like to see armor implemented in multiplayer as it was in the 2033 campaign, and it would also be cool to see the bullet system implemented in multiplayer, i.e. save up military grade bullets to buy better equipment, or use it in your current weapon to further penetrate armor. Just lost under the table and dreaming...

But seriously, I need to hear something about the game. The void of information is killing me.

 

Like many others, I too would love to see a GOOD multiplayer option. However, the singleplayer takes priority so I'd prefer if they got the base game finished and went back to multiplayer only after release... I would love to play a stealthy character in MP. Anyway, I agree, we need more info. It can be about anything related to Last Light. I too am getting really hungry for some new info on LL.

So if they are gonna make a multiplayer, which was nothing less than some ideas, they have a few months to make it? Instant fail...

 

They aren't going to make it since nobody knows how far they progressed with it in the first place. All we know is that they prototyped it; it was being developed and then was mothballed so single player could remain their focus.

Online sources are saying that the game is complete; and IF the game is delayed then that 80 man studio can be getting back working on multiplayer/co-op or whatever was being developed.

 

Yeah having tried to make some mp for my game myself I can say it;s 30 times harder than making sp stuff. Alot more stuff can go wrong...........
