Do you enjoy playing LoL anymore?

I stopped playing seriously a while ago, although I log in to play with friends from time to time. I'd like to see some new, radical changes, that would definitely make me play again.

I started playing this game around pre-season 1 and kept going till season 3, when I got bored of it. But recently a couple of my friends started playing, and now I can't get enough of the game. Playing this game with a good group of pals and just goofing off is one of the funnest things to do.

LoL really is no longer an enjoyment. However, I feel this since of obligation to play it as I have spent nearly 5 years now perfecting my skills. I've achieved a high ranking after many years of play now and I do sense a feeling of satisfaction when I look at it. It also makes me want to keep improving. It's all of these factors that pull me back - not the game itself.

I still definitely enjoy it, but I also still find some elements frustrating. I suppose I haven't reached that "veteran zen" state where noobs and bad decisions don't affect you anymore because you've learned to expect such shenanigans. Note that I've played this game for about 2 years now, so I suppose mileage on this sentiment may vary depending on how long you've played, really.

I always think it's still fun to play until I actaually load into a game and realize I'm not playing for fun anymore

I don't play that much anymore because I feel the concentration needed for each game is a bit too much for me because I prefer more relaxed games but I am very fascinated with it and I still watch tournaments. I am just glad I got to play for long enough so that I can understand what is going on in the tournaments because I find watching those very enjoyable.

I understand your situation very much. The same thing happend to me with Counter-Strike 1.6. But, I still play LoL a lot. I mean I started four months ago and I really like it.

I fell out of love with the game a long time ago. It became repetitive and dreary, and I stopped growing.

Whenever I reached that point with the game, I recognize that it is time to put away and stop worrying about it. The biggest problem with online games is that they are never designed to end, and so people never understand that it is upon them to decide when it is over.

Nah, not really. Most of my friends quit, so I can't enjoy Dynamic Queue to the greatest extent. I still log on for the occasional ARAM or featured game mode, but I haven't been able to play a normal or ranked game for ages.

That doesn't stop me from enjoying LCS though. Or rather, not enjoying LCS (I've been a DIG fan since before Season 3). Hoping for a couple of miracle Kiwi 5-man Pulverizes during relegations!

Lately I've started to lose interest on hearing my friends swearing over how nobs the other team players are. In the beginning it was fun, but now it's grown into a game that promotes hating on people. Also it's full of trolls who ruins your game and nerves.

Same. It's only fun when you play with a small group of people you are already familiar with and know that will just have fun with the game. At least when they have time out of whatever they are doing in their lives to actually play the game.

Within the current selection of champions it's a lot of fun to play with a group of friends. I don't play solo, but judging from the amount of disrespectful enemies I've met, the community hasn't become a much better place in the last couple of years. But if you don't play competitively and you want to relax and have some fun, it's definitely enjoyable with some friends.

League of Legends is meant to be a competitive game so I have a competitive mindset when playing these games, but that doesn't mean I can't have fun. I do enjoy playing the game at most times, unless people are being toxic. Hence why I play with friends 99% of the time.

I still enjoy playing, but haven't played much lately because of other games. I've been playing more Heroes of the Storms. Some of the trolls and laggers can get a bit annoying, but that is pretty typical for a huge game and community. I still for the most enjoy playing everytime I go back to it.

Yeah, but that way you're sure to not achieve your goal, as you can't form a team for sure only out of people you already know (not a competitive one), it's impossible to know 4 people of that level that would put together a great team. If you play it for fun, then that's ok, but don't expect to go up into league.
