Do you help new players?

Right? I really hate it when people think they can't play the game themselves without some kind of help. If you really need help that badly, go to a cheat page and just cheat your way through it without depending on other players to get you your stuff!

It depends what mood I am in and how much someone is bothering me. I have never experienced such a pain to deal with from beggars as I have in this game. I had turn actually turn the feature on that denies all group requests if I don't know the person. They will stalk you in this game in major cities.

Yeah. When I'm bored I go to low level areas and to help them make difficult quests or something like that. Some of them are really grateful and I feel better helping them, even if it's in a simple game.
When I was low I played alone most of the time because I think it's the best way to level up, but I have to admit that, sometimes, it's needed to go in a group to complete some quests so I just help people with the same philosophy making that type of question.

Depends on the attitude or my judgement. If the attitude is nice and warm I even go for the extra mile and help them. As for the judgement part, sometimes I feel certain players can't be helped no matter if you try or not.

I do try and help newbies out in the beginning, I was one once and know how it feels. I only go to a certain point with them though, then they are on their own.

I try to help out any new player who seems like a decent person. For example if someone is asking how to do something or how to make gold I'll try to explain it to them, but if someone is just asking for free gold because they're new I'll ignore them most times.

I try to help new players as much as I can. I just re-started playing a lot recently and a bunch of people helped me, especially when it comes to understand a few boss mechanics in the higher level dungeons. (Oh god, the Cata dungeons were a fucking nightmare if you didn't have any idea of what you were doing.)

But yeah, if what new players are asking is reasonable I see no reason to not help them. The dumb mentality of "Fuck him, he's a noob - *kick*" is really annoying, especially when you're actually new and are just trying to learn.

Sure, I'll help other WOW players, by challenging and harassing them with my highest character(s), while plain clothes and wielding no weapons; it's like telling a child take my dollar bill, it's not attached to this string and stick I'm holding... you can do it, c'mon sport. Next thing, "Whack!," the newbie players get owned; not too many have fallen for this trick, but a few have ;)

My best suggestion to newbies, run like hell from pricks like me! Run, I tell yah! RUN!

I prefer helping beginners in my guild. I like to do it since I was helped by stronger players when I started.

I love to help new players. A lot of people helped me when I was new so I feel like I have to. It also makes me feel good I can make others life's easier.

I'm pretty new myself in a way since I've basically been on a very long hiatus, so I like to help other new players when I can and if I can. To be honest, I usually can't help much though.

Understanding that the experience and skill gap is wide, it kind of irritates me to teach them because I think to myself, why they can't understand what I'm trying to get across. I will help them though with really basic stuff but when it comes to more advanced stuff, I'm kind of opted out of it.

I usually help them out, everyone was new to the game once, and it's nice to get help getting started. I was lucky enough that a few players helped me out when I was starting out, and I learned a lot about the game from them. That's why I now spend some of my time helping out new people with quests or just general advice.

It really depends upon my mood. Sometimes, I'm the most helpful guy to new players, and other times I'll troll them to no end. I'm one of those guys, but I'd say that I show my good side more than my bad side.

I'm very patient with new players, whenever I'm tanking a dungeon I'm always happy to explain the fight to them, especially since it refreshes the memory of other players who think they can just blast through everything.

Depends on the situation. I'm generally nicer to people in my guild than to complete strangers. More often than not, most people are trolls pretending to be beginners or clueless. If a person is genuine about wanting help, then I have no issues giving pointers, but if someone's being rude then they're SOL.

Yes, I do try to help them out. I tend to be nice in online games, as I believe they should be an enjoyable experience for all. However, sometimes it's just not worth the time. I guess it all depends on my mood. I have friends on both sides of the spectrum: some are really toxic and trolly to newbies, and some are really nice and spend time with them.

I help people when I can, because they remember me when I started playing and I had no idea of anything. I know what it feels like to be in a new game and I don't want anyone to feel like they're alone :p

I do my best to help new players! I remember how much help I needed when I was first starting out, so I know what it's like to be a noob.

I only played WoW a year, but I was about level 88 when it was all said and done. I would help new players if they asked for help. I don't take huge leaps to go out of my way, but if was a small favor, I did it. When I first came on as a newbie I knew nothing about the game. It never seemed anyone wanted to help. They would give me one-liners that really meant nothing would I was clueless about everything about the game. Unless you are in someone's clan, you can pretty much forget it. But that's the way it is in most MMOs.
