Do you love mining?

Depends for how long I'm doing it and if I'm having any success. Hopelessly digging for diamond for a rough 20 minutes with no pause makes my head go numb from all the boredom. Mining while exploring dungeons is the most fun for me.

I don't really think using TNT counts as mining. More like exploding ;)

It really depends on what mood I am at. Sometimes I enjoy it and sometimes I just hate it :p

I find it really helps out if your listening to some music in the background...

I usually spend a lot of my time mining to be honest.. If I'm not building, anyway. I love collecting a bunch of ore and building up a huge stash so I can spend a lot of time building things.

I do that as well, but once I finished collection all the ore needed, I can't think of absolutely anything to build :(

Yes, it's almost addicting. There's not a more greater feeling in the world that after you've mined for hours, you finally find a ore vein of 6 diamonds, bliss.

I love mining, there's just something really relaxing to it. I don't know why, because it's usually just holding down W and LMB but I just enjoy it. And there's also this rewarding feeling, when you finally find diamonds. I love it from time to time again, even though I've found thousands of diamonds in my minecraft-life by now.

I've always been more into the mining aspect than the building aspect. One of the most efficient ways to mine resources is through exploration, which is my favorite aspect of the game! I could play virtually anything with a procedurally generated environment. It always feels like there's something exciting around the next corner, whether it's more ores and diamonds or a creeper. That's actually why I rarely play on creative servers, getting rid of mining just takes the fun out of it for me.

I absolutely hate mining, not just Minecraft but any other game that has it. I hate tedious work. Mining takes too darn long and doesn't give rewards everytime.

I like the excitement that you get when finding diamonds, but if it takes too much time mining, and I come out with nothing then it's quite frustrating and I kind of hate it.

Mining is one of my favourite things to do in Minecraft! When starting a new world, I would gather some wood and a bunch of food right away, then start stair-casing down towards bedrock! I think it's really important to gather as much of the precious resources as you can, so you can start building as soon as you come out! I don't mind branch mining (I use the tiered branch mining method!), but I really enjoy caving! Exploring abandoned mine shafts and the like! I make sure to collect all the wood and fences in the shafts, which i use to block off the dead ends. It serves a purpose and looks pretty! I use the remaining planks to make torches and the fences will become animal pens when I come back to the surface.

I would agree with you in this. I love building far way more than mining. Mining isn't something I enjoy doing and I hardly ever do it. Lets say that I'm okay with it, but I don't feel the need to do it at all. It's also quite boring in my opinion and from what I've heard other players find it boring too.

Mining is great when you want to relax and some music going on in the background to just zen out to. Otherwise mining can get pretty tedious but overall it's not too bad.

Mining is just a nice way to relax, digging for diamonds in a strip mine or a regular mine is just amazing. It doesn't feel tedious to me, you can just put some music on and you can get resources, lay back, and enjoy mining. Overall i just love mining, it is one of my favorite things to do in Minecraft, even though it is literally a repetitive task, but it doesn't feel like it is repetitive at all.

When I first started to play Minecraft, yeah I loved to mine. But as time went by, I found that mining isn't as rewarding as other ways to play. I find building and exploring much more rewarding these days. But it's definitely worth it if you find some diamonds!

I like mining a lot! I like to go to layer 10 and make a 3x2 tunnel with 1x2 tunnels on the sides ever 3 blocks. It's the most efficient way and it finds ores great! I find tons of diamonds, gold, and ore, all pretty vital to become powerful in the game.

Mining just for resources can get pretty boring after awhile, however; I mostly enjoy mining. It's better than going into creative mode and just having unlimited resources. I'd rather work to get the resources and then build or craft something with them. Doing so just makes things more worthwhile for me.
