Do you play it with your friends?

Playing online games with RL friends is one of the reasons I game in the first place. It's always a blast logging on with some buddies and having a good time. Also, if you have RL friends, you always know you have some people you can count on to get things done in the game. You always can't rely on random people to be as good or dependable.

 

I am more of a lone wolfer. I deliberately choose to stay away from any kind of multiplayer and co-op gaming experience. It just ruins all the fun in my opinion.

 

I do sometimes when I need a little help building something or when I'm bored, but others wise not that much.

 

I don't play with my friends anymore as they love the game "Jumping around to a new game every week." I mean it is quite annoying, but no matter I am used to playing those sort of games alone anyway. I can play some Minecraft while I watch some Netflix, everything works out. But generally speaking it is better and more fun to play with your friends.

 

I don't play with friends unless I really need help building something, other than that I play on my own most of the time.

 

The first time I ever played Minecraft after purchasing the game was with my cousin. He showed me the basics. Then after that, I played SP for about a month. Then I thought I would try MP. I went through two servers and settled on a third on. It has been over a year and a half since joining that server. It's good for the most part. However, besides my wife and my cousin who showed up every now and then, I eventually became detached to it.

So now, I play on a friend's server from my elementary and high school days. Although everything is vanilla and much more difficult, I found that it's a lot of fun.

 

I like playing on the pocket edition with friends. Whenever we have a big sleepover, we all get onto one server. It's super fun to gang up on each other. We really need to do that again, we'd stay up all night playing and playing and playing. Those were some of the really fun sleepovers.

 

I'm not a big fan of playing at all. I really don't like it very much unless I want to build on it.

 

Yeah, I used to play with friends, collaborate in Minecraft is more funny that play alone, even if you enjoyed more play alone.

 

I would love to play with friends but they play much later in the night than me since I have to be up for work the next day. Playing the game with friends is fun and I certainly miss it. I do manage to catch them on weekends sometimes which is great.

 

Yes! All the time. Well, more like before, because I can't get on the game as much as i like to. Real life gets in the way. But yes, back then, we used to hang a lot in the game and it was a lot of fun. We still do sometimes. I have friends whom i barely see anymore so we would sometimes meet up in minecraft. Haha. It's true because some of my closest friends are living in some other parts of the world so it's not that easy meet up.

 

Not exactly with my 'friends' exactly as many of you would say it, but I do play it a lot at my work with the kids we work with, and the people I hire to help out. They're my friends, yes, but not really friends as most people would know them I guess?

 

I play with both friends and strangers, and sometimes the strangers even become my friends! I remember on time I joined a random vanilla server with a bunch of strangers on it. Then we all built a town together and it was awesome! I only have a few IRL friends that are into Minecraft as much as me anyway.

 

Ya, I used to. Once the new call of duty came out though, they all started playing that instead. Now I'm alone

 

Aw, that sucks I think COD is pretty boring so I never bothered trying to get into it. I recommend finding a nice survival server with around 10 people that regularly go on it, those tend to be the nicest.

 

Yes! I definitely do as there are just so much more things to do with a party of friends than playing alone. I usually visit my friends house where 3 or 4 of us meet up and play over lan, or I will host a server myself and share the ip with my friends so that we can play together. One thing about playing with friends that appeal to me most is the laughter and enjoyment that cannot be achieved by playing alone. Let's take for an example, an adventure map. Playing an adventure map alone, sure is exciting and entertaining, but there is no one to accompany you along the course of that map, no one to share the funniest moments or assist you in intense combat that brings about a whole lot of laughter. So, I definitely prefer playing with friends, it is what actually keeps me playing when I get bored of minecraft.

Playing with friends is definitely more fun! It's even more fun when you join a PVP server all together. Then, you all share your resources and weapons. I personally really like to play with people I know. I tend to take down PVP servers with them! It can be challenging at times though because there's people out there with cheats, which can be quite annoying.

 

I almost only play Minecraft multiplayer. I can't even remember the last time that I started a single player world. But now that I have read this thread, I am getting the urge to create a new world.

 

I almost always play with friends. This is since it is mostly my boyfriends game so I usually just join him on split screen.
