In my opinion, if you haven't played it on PC then you haven't played.

There's just so much more depth, content and possibilities on the PC!

I could not play this on a console. The controls would bother me way too much! PC version is much better IMO. The first time I played Minecraft it was on a friend's phone and that was probably a worse experience than my console experience would be lol.

aiming with a controller in first person is real pain in the ass. I can play third person games like batman and all with controller fine. But my first person skills are very bad.

I play Minecraft on my PC. Sometimes, I also play on my iPhone from time to time when I get bored but it's not the same experience as the PC version obviously.

I play on both! I love how much the PC version of Minecraft has to offer. You have almost complete control over the experience because you have the opportunity to mod the game, use various maps, and choose almost any type of skin that you could possibly imagine to wear on your character. However, I do love playing Minecraft on my console as well. I love the feel of my xbox controller, so when I'm not in competitive play, that is usually what I turn to for leisure activity.

I prefer to play on a PC as that is the only way I can play at this current moment unfortunately. I am hoping to try it out on console because console games allow you to lie in bed and play from there.

PC for the win. I tried playing Minecraft on 360 but the way the controls were set up made it stressful to play. I might give it another shot when they update again.

I started playing Minecraft before it was on console, and I am much more of a PC gamer anyway. I like to multitask on my PC while I play.

I play Minecraft on both, PC and Console! Id pick PC Minecraft over Console Minecraft (Xbox) anyday! I think it just depends where your friends are and what is more convenient!

That's because it all started with the PC version. No other version is as polished or has as much content as the PC version. Which is why I almost exclusively play the PC version.

Different market audiences though. The console adaptations were an interesting attempt to grab a new target audience.

Hmm, well I've only ever played the PC version. So unfortunately my opinion is biased. Yet, I am interested in playing the 360 version. Though, I think I'd still prefer the PC because it has so many more options, such as skins and texture packs.

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of minecraft Xbox edition, but you work with what you got, right?
At the moment, my laptop is too busy not listening to me, so it's impossible to play minecraft without the computer slowing down and trying to crash the game.

As a result, I play on the Xbox 360. It's a lovely Idea to put the game on multiple consoles, but the Xbox edition is really lacking and I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anybody.
You can't install mods, we're always 5 updates behind, no adventure maps or servers. You can only ever play with your friends on Xbox, and only if someone invites you or vice versa. BUT, it is still minecraft, and I still enjoy it.

I enjoy both, different friends play on different consoles and both have their ups and downs. I enjoy couch playing feeling of the XBox, but I also like the freedom and sharpness of PC. THey're both great.

Yeah the PC version is much more convenient, to be honest I think the PC is the superior platform for nearly every game except for a select few games like Dark Souls. But even then I'd prefer to use my PC with a controller plugged in. As an aside I love how easy it is to just plug and play with the 360 controller

PC for me. It's just easier to play on the PC in general. It's probably because I'm most comfortable with PC games. :)

PC for me mostly because it's my preferred gaming platform. The other main reason I play Minecraft on the PC is for the modpacks, the added content makes each new world more intricate trying to balance aesthetics and functionality.

Every time I played the PC and console version of a game I always found myself liking the PC version more. While I have not played the console version of Minecraft, in this case I'm sure this would still hold true.

I've tried both, but I personally prefer using the PC as the console controls are pretty clunky (although I did start playing Minecraft using the PC, so that might be why).

I've been playing it almost solely on the PC version. Just much better gameplay and I like generally like games on the PC a lot more anyway. Better interface. Also, my buddy has Minecraft on for the 360 and the controls just felt awkward to me. It was almost like a totally different game.
