I've personally always played Minecraft on the PC. Never tried any of the console versions. Just seems more like a computer game than a console game to me, for some reason.

I play Minecraft exclusively on the PC. It just has the most features and is the most fleshed out version so why not?

I heard that the console port is really good but it does lack a lot of the features in the PC version. With that said, I'm sure you can still have a lot of fun with it.

That's true but I recently heard that the amount of sales for consoles in now greater than PC. Perhaps more people like the console feel better.

I started on the PC version and I've never honestly played any of the other versions. I probably couldn't do it because the PC version has the most content available and I think I'd feel really limited, especially on the smartphone/pocket edition.

Though it also doesn't help that I find it silly to purchase a game twice - if I own it on one system, I can't see the reason for buying it on another unless I get some sort of bonus or advantage.

I have both the 360 version and the PC version. Obviously the pc version is better, but the console version is actually pretty good. I'm surprised at how well it competes with the other versions. The downside is you have to pay for texture packs and skins.

PC, Minecraft didn't even exist in those other places when I got it. Plus, the amount of resources for PC is the only thing that kept me interested so long. Minecraft vanilla is great but after awhile it gets a little dull. But anyways, even if I could, I don't have a reason to buy it for any other platform.

I've only played Minecraft on PC but I'd love to try the mobile version as well. Sometimes when I'm on the train I crave playing Minecraft!

The mods for Minecraft on PC are awesome though and at this point I couldn't imagine playing without them. I also enjoy participating in group builds online so I'd really miss that feature on another platform.

I've always played Minecraft on my PC. For one, I don't have a console. Lol. I'm a PC guy. And I think Minecraft is more of a PC game, if that makes sense. The mods are also fantastic on PC!

Keyboard/mouse all the way. With all the modding going on - I jsut don't see myself ever playing Minecraft on consoles. How do people build things with a controller? Still, it can't be as bad as an RTS game for consoles, lol.

I am pretty sure that the PC version is way better, but I only play it on the Xbox 360 version, because I do not know anybody that plays it on the PC. I only know that all my friends play it on the Xbox, unless they have not told me that they have it for PC.

I've been playing Minecraft mostly on the PC, I have tried the console version but I can't get into it. The pocket edition is also just too difficult to control. Every version but the PC version is gimped.

PC, definitely. I am not one for singleplayer minecraft, and often on Xbox my friends aren't online or they're playing the latest game, like Watch Dogs. On the other hand, SMP servers are always online and you can always access them whenever you want. Also, the economy feature makes grinding for things unnecessary, which some may believe takes away from the "Minecraft Experience". To each his own, I suppose.

The first time I played Minecraft, I played it on my iPad. I then went on Youtube and saw how much better the PC version was. Ever since then I have played on my computer. I would imagine that the Computer version has better graphics than the console version

I play on PC. I've seen some screenshots and stuff of the console version, and I'm always really surprised at how small the worlds are, especially considering that worse PC hardware supports infinite worlds.

I personally enjoy playing on the console. I've only ever played PC once though and I didn't really enjoy it (probably because I was new to the game), but I hear there's a lot more to do on PC versus the console.

Yeah, the PC versions seems to be where all the new features are added. The console version is just getting features that the PC version has had for months, and I've always felt like the controls were lacking a bit on consoles.

The PC will simply be more preferred because it has more content and a bigger player-base. On Xbox, you can't add a mod to it or change the texture pack without buying it. Your skin is steve unless you buy a skin pack. On the PC version, you can do that by just accessing the files of the game. You have more precision and control over the game, and you can play with random people.

I began playing Minecraft long before it was available on other platforms, and I stuck with it. I don't own a console, so I can't mine there, and playing the pocket version doesn't really sound appealing. I don't think I would be able to enjoy the experience on a small phone screen, would you?
