Do you play with a texture-pack/resource-pack?

It's a sandbox game, and the game itself is a sandbox since you can mod everything about it. It's weird that Java runs in it's own virtual sandbox if I'm not mistaken.

I used to use texture packs but since I got a new computer I'm ok with the regular version on high graphics. There are some pretty cool sets but there are way more that are buggy to make it worth doing.

 

Sphax pure bdcrafton 128x resolution. I hate the vanilla textures with a passion. I realize that before when the game first came out that it was intended to look like a retro game, but nowadays who plays vanilla? Everyone uses at least one mod, if not a modpack like tekkit or feed the beast. Mojang should enlist one of these resource pack creators and fund them and include it into the vanilla game.

 

Only "Enhancer" I use is Optifine! I love the original texture pack! But Optifine makes the original texture pack look awesome!

 

I am currently playing with the MojoKraft texture pack, I like it a lot better than vanilla minecraft which looks like someone vomited on the screen. I also enjoy Faerielight and John smith Legacy. Just makes the game more pleasurable to look at.

 

I love using DokuCraft. I just really like how the wood looks It does a great job decorating my house.

 

I'll dabble in texture packs, however; you'll usually find me using the default textures. I like the game in its original form, and sometimes modifying it does ruin things. There are some great texture packs currently available, though.

 

I usually use default unless playing adventure maps with suggested texture packs.

 

I play on a factions server and my faction has their own custom texture pack that we use.

 

I play with a texture pack mainly because I want the block textures to be more smooth and clean. Along with that, I also dislike the huge fire in your UI whenever you catch on fire. The texture pack I use makes the fire minimal and lets me see easier.

 

I like the default one, but I love using the Sphax PD Craft texture pack. It's fantastic.

 

Always.. the games default texture pack leaves alot to be desired..

 

The Matt Damon texture pack is the only true way to play minecraft in my opinion.

 

I'm one of the few people that actually like the vanilla texture pack a lot! I've never used a texture pack and I think I never will. I love the texture pack by Mojang, so I have no reason to change it.

 

Sphax <3 I am in love with this texture pack. You really have to see it to believe it, it just makes the entire experience so much more enjoyable. I never used a texture pack before Sphax, and I probably never will use one after it. At first I didn't see the point, but I am so sold on Sphax.

 

I use the Soartex pack and I love it. The default graphics are abit too bland for me personally.

 

I tried using a different texture pack but I didn't like it and I never get sued to it. I like the default texture pack because I'm used to it.

 

I like the default, but sometimes I do use texture packs.

 

I use a 256bit hd default textures pack and I never looked back, everything looks better, the weather effects are improved, sun and moon textures are realistic and beautiful and I just like the general HD texture feel to the game.

 

Some times I use doku craft if I feel like it. But otherwise vanilla is the way I GO! It has a much nicer look to it than most TP's!
