    That is the same I did, i traded 1 or 2 times, realized that it isn't worth it, and haven't used the trading system with villagers since. It is an interesting concept, but the Minecraft team did not add it in very well at all.

    No I never trade with the villagers. Most of what they are asking is just a ridiculous trade. I do use the towns however to take some resources back such as seeds for planting and whatever I can raid from the houses. Besides that, the villages are pretty useless. They do, however, have much better architecture skills than I do. But that's beside the point. It's not worth your time to trade with the villagers unless you're dead set on trading three emeralds for 5 pieces of paper.

    I trade only when villagers have the items that I need, and if I have an excess in emeralds. (I usually have a ton of emeralds due to my fortune pick.)
    Villagers sometimes have a good offers, such as 12 emeralds for a diamond chestplate, or a pickaxe. When diamonds are involved, I am sure to trade for the items so I can make the best out of the testificates.

    I don't really care about the villagers and I don't trade with them. I steal their stuff and run. That's it.

    Rarely do I trade with villagers. Most of the stuff they ask for is over priced. 3 bread for 10 emerald? That's expensive. Sometimes though, if I am desperate enough for a diamond sword, I might trade the emeralds for it.

    I tend to just do away with the villagers and pretend like I looted them. It's better than getting ripped off by NPCs that make stupid noises. ;]

    No! Why in the world would I trade with villages? They are so expensive that it's simply not worth it. If you want to buy something they'll require something that is worth at least two or three times more than what you asked for. None of them are worth it, seriously, in my opinion.

    Some times they have some good offers like wheat to emeralds. So I always take their wheat and get free emeralds!
