Do you use potions?

I almost always bring Fire Resistance and Regeneration when Blaze or Wither Skeleton hunting.
If I feel like trolling people, I'll apply Invisibility and start throwing Poison at people.
Splash Healing potions are good for removing skeletons and zombies if you only want creepers in your trap.
I use Water Breathing and Night Vision potions when deep sea diving (which I do quite often for various reasons)

 

No simply because I played the game long before they were ever implemented and I don't really understand how they work 100%. Sometimes I'll have a go at making them, but I always end up getting bored and moving on.

 

In all the time I've had Minecraft, I've never made or used them. Heck, I don't think I could even tell you what they can do, other than witches are jerks that throw them at me, and I would guess there is a health one available. I think I looked into them at one point and decided the resources needed to make one weren't worth the effort. Need more health? Carry some carrots - you're growing them already.

 

For the most part I don't use them unless in some kind of insane PVP or multiplayer situation, since that seems to be most of the potion's main purposes. I rarely use them outside of my house or base, but if I go in a pvp or arena server I always bring them. In singleplayer survival they're generally useless, unless some kind of mod has dangerous creatures that force me to use them. I mostly use them for quick giggles, or to mess with friends when they don't realize I'm around.

 

There's potions in Minecraft now. Well I don't play Minecraft as much since I can't run it at all, been a long time I played it since it lagged so much that it made me frustrated and I have to quit Minecraft forever.

 

I'll be honest, I took a break during the alchemy/enchanting release and so when I came back I had no idea what it was and kind of just stayed away from it.

 

I use potions but not as much as some other people. Most of them are used when I am combating someone.

 

I use potions only when I go to Nether in case of falling. I rarely use potions when I fight with other players because I use god apples to combat.

 

I like to use potions, but for some reason, I feel like they're expensive. But they're really cost effective if you think about it. They're especially useful when it comes to buss fights such as the Wither.

 

I love using speed potions as I can run away from mobs quicker and I can travel much quicker. I sometimes have healing splash potions, encase a creeper jumps me. Sometimes I don't bother with potions as they can take a while to create.

 

Nope. I am usually a very frugal person in video games and love to save things until later. I usually end up not using it at all. I rarely use potions as I find it ruins the fun of the game as it disrupts the nature of it. I only use potions when I absolutely need it (e.g. crossing places with fire/lava), especially in multiplayer servers where the server is set up so you're supposed to use them.

 

I don't really bother with potions, just because I'm never in the nether. I'd die a lot if I went there, and I always had a lot of bugs with spawning back in the wrong places or each world not loading properly.

 

In combat I do often but otherwise no. Just to expensive and tricky in general do deal with. Speed potions are my thing, good to keep a thick inventory of those.

I use them when I'm on a raid mission, basically because I don't want to get killed and lose all my armor, but as I stated on the poll is not on the priority list and I could basically play Minecraft without ever using one.

 

I have never created a potion and used it before. Ever. I just do not see a need to do so. My game play does not usually consist of me fighting, instead it is of me building and cooperating with my friends. Potions just do not serve a purpose for me, and I find it hard to get together the right materials.

 

I don't use them that often. I can live without them easily. I already have the beacon set up so no need of potions too much.
I use the fire resistance potions in the Nether a lot. And when I travel I love the Speed II potions.

 

I also don't use potions too much as the ingredients can be a bit hard to find and I just can't be bothered to search for them. And in single player there isn't that much use for them. I can understand their use in pvp servers for example but I usually just like to build things in my own world, the pvp aspect for me is kinda meh. I mean its ok, I do play on them but you know, I prefer to spend time on my unfinished creations.

 

Before a few months ago, I never used potions. Not even to experiment with. This is mostly because I never really do proper PvP in servers as I'm usually OP as hell with god mode and flying abilities and such, but I recently (a few months ago) started a Mianite-like server with friends just to have fun on, and since then I've discovered the awesomeness of potions. I carry them with me all the time and they come in use a lot.
