Do you want more weapons for crafting?

A Mortars, no questions asked. I mean you get gun powder stuff from creepers, why not make weapons with it to have fun? I imagin that people would have fun breaking other peoples stuff in servers with mortars and why not add a cannon? Lets blasts peoples homes with cannons! It would be heaps of fun.

 

I wish I could get more medieval weapons for crafting. They are quite fun to use, especially against skeletons and other monsters. But I don't think that weapons are the main concern of the game now.

 

I think that Minecraft should need more weapons. I agree for the spear that others were talking about.
The developers should add more arrow tipes. (i.e ice arrow, bomb arrow, ender arrow, iron armor, etc...)
They keep adding more block types to the game, but not adding more weapons. The next Minecraft update should be "Weapons update"
But not only weapons, but also more armor types!

 

I would like to see a spear as well, and maybe a battle axe. I think nunchucks would be an excellent addition, you could swing them around to hit enemies and it could hit from all directions.

 

I don't really care for weapons in the game. I'd rather try and avoid fighting as much as I can and just build. But someone said something about a spear, and that would be pretty cool if I had to choose one.

 

I think it's time we see a new arsenal. Something with lasers could be cool.

 

I agree. Lasers would be cool. Maybe we'd be able to split Minecraft blocks in half them. Add a whole new layer of fun.

 

I also think that spear would be nice, and not much more is needed. But I would like spears to really have a longer reach, so that I can knock away creepers before they blow up on me, hehe.
If you want all kinds of weapons, then Terraria is it for you, not Minecraft.

 

Yeah. Maybe guns or spears? Staffs would be pretty unique. More weapons would allow more diversity. I wouldn't think this would be too hard to code in; several mods do this already.

 

I like only having a few weapons to choose from but I wish it was a little easier to craft the bow and arrow. I feel like I always use my arrows really fast and have a hard time getting more. Maybe I just don't really know what I'm doing but I would like to see something added where you can make an arrow from mining something.

 

I agree arrows are expensive; they're so hard to make in relation to the ease of using them. It helps that I take more care when aiming though!

 

The spear sounds like a great idea, and I wish you could pair it with a rope of some kind to make it like a hook, you could reel it back in whenever you toss it out.

The grappling hook idea is also BADLY needed, I find stiff cliffs that are just too hard to climb (most of the time I end up destroying some of my tools because of destroying blocks in order to create stairs)

 

First of all, I don't consider arrows weapons. Second of all, I would like to see tools like they have in the mod Tinker's Contruct. There are hammers (mine 3x3), rappiers (ignore armor), etc. A lot of these tools are creative, and can be made from tons of different materials.

 

I don't really mind the lack of variety here as most weapons would end up being the same anyway. I love the weapons in Starbound though. There are are some pretty fun ones lol.

 

I think someone said it before me, but would it be awesome or what to have a spear?!? I'm thinking it would be made of Flint and Sticks. They way you could use it is like the bow function, the power depends on how far back you cock your arm!

 

You trying to tell me you don't consider TnT a weapon? I love to scatter around my base with TnT mines, anyone steps on it they fall into a pit of lava or they explode. I would like to see spear or flail in the game, that way I could kick some mob butt.

 

I just want to choose between a sword or a mace. Heck, if we had catapults that would be super righteous!

If we did have more weapons to craft I think I would play minecraft a lot more then I do now. I want a cross bow and dual swords

 

I'd have to say that a spear or even a slingshot would be worth crafting. A few extra weapons wouldn't hurt, although I still don't want to see guns in Minecraft. You could implement a lot of handheld weapons, though.

 

It would be nice to add a bit of variety to the game.

 

I don't think very many weapons are really needed, maybe a spear or something like that, that could also be used for fishing (I know, it would be kind of pointless because there already is a fishing pole, but I think it would be kind of fun, either way) or maybe something like a blow dart gun, where you could have normal darts or ones that contain poison.
