Does Minecraft ever get boring to you?

I can only play Minecraft for an hour or two at this point. Otherwise, the game gets boring. As long as I play in short bursts, then I'm fine and won't get too bored. This will happen with any and every game, though, so it should be expected.

 

All games get boring after a while. No big deal. Variety is the spice of life. Take a break play something else. Do something else. Go out and run a while. Read and write.

 

Of course I do. I play for a bit then move on to another game so I won't get sick of it. Doing the same thing over and over is great for games like WOW, but you have to have a break sometimes.

 

Well eventually all games gets boring at some point. I do get bored of Minecraft, in fact I never even play Minecraft anymore. I don't know, it's just that when you've already done everything and mined everything it feels like there's no point in playing it anymore. I do play it with my friends sometimes.

 

Sometimes. I actually went on a pretty long (More like, two months, but, whatever) hiatus from it, just because everything got really old to me. But I recently started playing again.. Not like I used to, though.. Just sometimes, to kill boredom.

 

Yes actually, I played Minecraft with my friends for about two years, then I realized how boring it got. After that I moved to League of Legends. Now I am back on Minecraft, CS:GO, and LoL.

 

Minecraft is a game that strains your mind and to do that, you need to think. You have to put your mind to it and sometimes, that takes a toll. Minecraft, if you want to be very good at it, is not a casual game. It is something that you need to take your time with. And Minecraft will get very boring soon, because unless you're a real life architect, then you will have trouble finding more stuff to do in Minecraft. But, hey that's what mods are for, right? Minecraft is a game where I could play hours upon hours and it would only feel like minutes passed by. Nowadays, I can play at intervals for about 20 minutes, then I'm just so bored. You just need to take a break and recharge that battery to keep playing more. You'll find that spark again.

 

I got kind of tired of it after it entered the later stages of beta and I moved on to other stuff. I came back a few months ago to see hoe the game has changed and I've been really enjoying all the new content and mods for the game.

 

It does after a long marathon of playing it. I usually give it a break and play other games so when I come back it is more refreshing and fun.

 

It does, just like every other game. I used to be really addicted to Minecraft but in the past few months its kind of died out for me, I guess because I've just found other games that have consumed more of my time, but I will still play every now and again out of boredom to kill a little bit of time.

 

I do get bored easily when I'm playing alone but playing with friends is always entertaining.

 

I only play Minecraft for a excessive amount of time if my friends are playing too. I realized that playing alone isn't the same as playing with your friends. It just doesn't feel right when you're playing by yourself. When you're playing with your friends, I get the craving of wanting to play more just because of how fun it is.

 

Yes it does. As addictive the game is it's also boring especially when you start a new world and you have to build everything from scratch I hate it and often times I just shut the game off.

 

Rarely it happens that I get bored of the world I created, but usually when that happens I just start a new one from scratch. That's the most interesting aspect of Minecraft in my opinion, that you can make anything you want. I really don't see it getting boring for me anytime soon.

 

Minecraft is one of those games I will put down for several months only to pick it up and play it for a week straight.

Rinse. Repeat.

Also if I ever find myself bored by Vanilla a completely game-altering mod is always a click or two away. The popularity of this game means I can always find new content or players to play with to continue to keep myself entertained with.

Yeah, I got bored easily at Minecraft. I always stop playing it for days and I always come back to play it again. But when I watch some youtubers like Seannaners and Captain sparklez I never get bored.

 

Of course it gets boring, every game gets boring after a while, but Minecraft takes longer due to the sheer diversity of the game. I don't really play Creative though, so I have no massive building project to work on when I'm bored. Instead, I go to Faction servers, survival servers, and even minigame servers. After that, I start up Technic Launcher to try out some modpacks to make it a completely new experience, and after that I get bored.

 

As I recently posted in another thread, I find that after a few months of playing it gets boring to the point where I won't even consider playing it. Then after a few months of not playing, it's all I'll do in my free time.

If they added more aspects to the game, then I think I'd get bored of it even less frequently as my main beef with minecraft is that it's rather repetitive. Still a good game nonetheless.

 

To some extent it has gotten boring, but I wouldn't worry too much about it though. There are still lots of things you can do int he game. I like downloading mods.
