Does the character's race affect the play?

Pick whatever race you like the most, they have minor differences between them stat-wise but those are so small that you can ignore them and ick whatever race is your favorite.

 

They do make a difference, I wouldn't say it is huge, but it's there. They all have different abilities and minor stat differences that affect the gameplay for you. I would just go with whatever race you find more appealing and get used to the way you're supposed to play them. Whatever you do, just have fun.

 

Well, they do make a difference in your playing experience, depending on who you choose. However, the differences aren't that substantial, and you can easily enjoy the game playing any race.

 

Race makes a mostly small difference in gameplay among different players, although the effects aren't that noticeable in most cases. Only in rare instances will your race matter a whole lot, as far as I'm concerned. You know what your given race can and can't do.
