I would definitely recommend coming back. The new expansions that were released are full of content to explore! I had gotten bored of many of the other MMORPGS but ESO is always there to fall back on. I would give it a try and check out the new content and explore.

Just follow the link posted to participate in the giveaway. I would definitely recommend it as well as picking up ESO if you haven't yet.

The game is definitely doing good, they just released a new expansion recently and the amount of players logged in concurrently is good. Theres always something to do in game so it makes sense that theres a lot of players.

Has anyone found an issue with logging in or staying logged in? I've tried getting in the last few days and the best success I've had was logging in for under ten minutes on a low level alt before getting booted out. I couldn't log back in because I was getting a time out error. It was quite frustrating.

Are they going to declare who won the money once the contest is over?

@razer are you serious? Is a one word reply all you could muster? I don't have an answer. I'm just irritated at the one word fly by.

This is a great contest, and definitely a good excuse to check out ESO. I haven't tried this game yet but I adored Skyrim... I'm just worried this will suck in another 500+ hours of my life. I've put down Skyrim for the time being 300 hours in because I need to focus on life once in a while, lol.

It's quite unfortunate I wasn't able to see this post before the entry period had ended. However, I look forward to the next and seeing the winners glistening eyes when they notice they just won 1 million dollars for... playing a game for at least 1 second haha

Oh I know all too well, it was just that as soon as I saw this it instantly made me think of that game. Since this game is better than Advent Rising, the contest shouldn't fail and whoever wins will be a very lucky person to do so.

Is it over? Did they announce anything? I was able to successfully log in once during the contest period. I tried a total of four or five times before giving up in irritation.

I'm so sad that people from European countries can't compete. It's so unfair! But I wish you all good luck if you participate in the contest. 1 000 000 $ is a very big sum and really can change your life for the good. And getting that merely by playing a game feels maybe a thouasand times better :)

Why should foreign countries be allowed participation? It would be a complicated mess legally to even attempt that.

But, other than the North American server, there is also the European server. It kind of makes sense that they'd like to participate in the million dollar drawing.

The servers have nothing to do with the nationality or location of the company that operates the game and the contest. Having European servers does not make it a European game. There are tax laws and gambling laws and customs laws and a whole mess of laws making what you are asking for difficult and more expensive than it is worth.

Deep breath. Not saying they should participate, especially given the reasons you stated. I'm just saying that, since they're part of this games' community, I can understand why they'd like to be a part of such a big event.

I'll admit ESO's 1million contest did get me to take another look at ESO briefly, though I doubt i'll win it is a nice t hought / incentive to pick the game up for a little bit longer. Sadly the game still reminds me that it's not really skyrim or oblivion and I just haven't been able to let that go yet loll.

The contest entry is over anyway. Not sure that it matters.

Damn so thats what Bethesda are doing with the Fallout 4 money. Just wondering though would the prize still go to the winner if Bethesda end up going bankrupt or something within the next twenty years. Could happen quite a few companies and even the odd giant publisher has vanished in the last few years
