I still think Dungerons and Dragons Online is the best f2p game if you like fantasy roleplaying. You can get 100s of hours of fun out of it by playing the free content, which earn your points to buy additional packs.

SWTOR is enjoyable just for the storylines which is free to play, the more interactive stuff requires pay but I personally found the personal stories to be the focal point of the game. You can sink some time into the storymode alone and considering it's free, it's well worth it.

En Masse's TERA Online is also a good F2P game, with subscribers only getting a minor XP / loot bonus versus the non-paying players.

I recommend you Tera online. Graphics are amazing, and is completely free to play. Besides, the gameplay isn't based on the classic "point and click", in tera combats are more as a hack and slash games.

There are more games f2p pretty interesting, Aion the tower of eternity has also good graphics and Runes of magic too

I thought Archarge was Pay to play? Is there a free to play option like Eve, and is it viable (so you don't have to spend hours grinding)?

I don't know if you can play archeage and don't spend hours and hours grinding, I've listened that on this game there are a lot of things to do so I suppose you don't have to.

But free to play is, I can assure that ^^

I would definitely recommend saving up the money and buying Guild Wars 2. With no subscription fee, it is 100% worth it! Plus, I find it much, much more fun than any completely free mmo out right now.
