I loved when they said that Artyom wasn''t a normal guy because he killed all the people on the train...lol

 

I listened to a conversation two guys were having in a storeroom in the station where the Reds are building the armoured train, and they were talking about the bridge from the first game with Reds on one side and the Reich on the other.

Apparently in this game's continuity, Artyom single-handedly shot up both sides of the barricade and as there were no witnesses left alive to tell the tale, the massacre is rumoured to be the work of a creature called 'The Dark Railtracer'.

 

Or, that just the version of events that got passed along. You can hear crazy rumors about stuff you supposedly did in this game.

Somewhere near the end of the game, definitely after all the Dark Ones' influence is knocking out Artyom's flashlight, and you're following Khan through some tunnels...

One area, when you go to the right and Khan continues left, you come up to a grating where two skeletons are resting up against the grate on the other side from you. They "wake up" and are animated for a few seconds, sitting up straighter, and their eyes track you constantly for several seconds, then they return to their rest. A little bit creepy, but I also found it quite comical for some reason.

Wish I had a screenshot. I'll see if I can find it again...

 

Chasing the two little girls so we could play with their friends doll .... But where the hell was the damn doll ? I would lol if I could take it from them and sell it for bullets .

On the level Quarantine after going through the barricade where they kill the guy trying to get through, in the next section it's like an abandoned area, just before the plants growing he's ducked into a little alcove, when you get close he jumps out and yells something at you and then ducks back in and stands there. Really dark area, scared the shit outta me.

 

When escaping the reds after being captured because of Pavel, there's a concertina in a locker at the end of the part after the part with the armored train.
*Sneaks silently, slowly and nervously through the shadows, past the guards, barely managing in the end to slip into the hallway on the end of the room, breathing out and relaxing a little after the tension. Sees concertina in locker, pushing E on it. Concertina starts playing loudly "SSSSHHHIIIII- SHUT UP, SHUT UUUP! D:" Looks behind himself to see if anyone's coming into the hallway*

Here is one during the chapter after you escape interrogation from big bad.

If you head into the luxury area (Or barracks, whatever suits your fancy) next to the train and construction going on. There should be a locker next to the bath (Filled with water with a sunken battleship)

Once you open it. You see an explosive trap with the fuse sizzling. You're most common thought was to run away after that. But in a few seconds...the fuse stopped and the trap did not explode. Causing you to be freaked out over nothing.

 

Haha yea man when i heard that sound of trap activating i ran like hell across the room, and the guards were all like :spy:

Funny cuz i was jumping all over the place.

 

Got that one last night for the first time (missed it in my first playthrough). That's exactly something I would do in a level I made. I thought it was pretty clever.
