Gamers, did you ever regret all the hours spent on playing?

I never really regretted the time I spend. Granted I was never seriously addicted, but as they say time you enjoyed wasting isn't really wasted.

Sadly I do, I still do. I realize every now and then how much time I waste playing video games and I start thinking how many other things I could be doing. I could be productive, learn new things, get into music production, start learning programming, but I'm playing video games.

But then I continue playing and I enjoy myself and forget about everything else.

Yep :) But then again, you can regret anything in life if you're somewhere you don't wanna be. I love games and what they've taught me, but hey, I don't spend much time playing anymore. I've learned.

The only thing I regret about the time wasted, really, is that I haven't accomplished very much in my life. You only have one life, and to be honest, it goes by very fast. I'm 21 years old, and ever since my 13th birthday, I don't feel any different. I'm dead serious about that. But 8 years have gone by, and with how short it's felt, playing video games the way I do I could easily pass my life by.
But the way I see it is that... At least I'm not doing drugs, or drinking excessively. So, I don't regret that.

Yeah, there's got to be a balance where you still enjoy gaming, but where you don't let gaming be the only thing you do and still have opportunities to grow as a person and learn things and do stuff. Everything in moderation, as the saying goes.

I've never regretted the time I spent gaming, as I believe it to be time well spent, with me enjoying and having fun with others and friends. I've cut back recently, to focus on my other goals, although I still don't regret the time spent.

Yeah, cutting back is something that everyone has to do. But, I don't regret it either - fun is priceless.
