I personally like Terraria and Starbound a lot more. They aren't really that similar once you get down to it. A future patch for Starbound will probably bring an overhauled combat system. Based on the plans for it they have shown, the combat looks truly amazing.

This also shows the focus of Starbound is more on upgrading your gear and combat, while as Minecraft has more of a focus on building stuff. They both have exploration as a central part of it, though.

I can honestly say that I have never come across a game quite like Minecraft. It is a really unique game if you ask me. I guess Rust is sort of similar to Minecraft as far as crafting goes.

It's in its own level of games. Some things are similar but the gameplay, if you think about it, is vastly different especially when you subtract a dimension. Terraria is definitely a lot crazier than Minecraft.

Well I guess if you look at Infiminer, it's somewhat similar especially in concept. I'd say that's good since that is the game Minecraft was based on.

Also want to point out that Terraria is bassed on combat rather than building and creating like in Minecraft

Because people are ashamed of Terraria and the fact it ripped Starbound off. But I believe someone did mention it up at the stop they said "Two games are Terraria and Starbound"

What? Why would people be ashamed of terraria? Or even starbound? I'm a proud player of both of them, and I enjoy every minute of it. I also play minecraft so you can't accuse me and say I don't. :p

There's a lot of them out there but they don't bother me too much. I usually just ignore them because although they have their own special quirks, they won't have the same feeling as Minecraft and I wouldn't be able to enjoy them. Plus Minecraft is pretty far ahead of all of them and they probably won't be able to build such a strong community. Minecraft will always have way more fan-made resources like texture packs, mods, and both educational and entertaining videos. And I mean this more about the exact copies to Minecraft, I don't think I would count Terraria. It has the same idea but is very very different.

I'm surprised Op didn't mention Cubeworld in the Minecraft inspired game list. If I remember correctly Wollay told us in one of his blogs that Cubeworld was based off of minecraft and he was inspired by it from the start to make it with unique RPG elements. Terraria on the other hand is not really like Minecraft, it's more robust and 2d for it to have the feel and has way to many enemies/building blocks. Plus Terraria has a unbelievable amount of bosses and no end.

Horrible. Not only talking about blockland and minebuilder (random names, just saying because there are a lot of fake minecraft games) on android.

Games like 7 days to die are things I really don't like. Mojang thought of making something clever, then everybody's got to imitate it...
