    I usually staff a few friends, or you can just make new friends and staff someone that seems reliable!

    To be honest, me and the rest of the staff team are a little stuck on what we should add to the server now. I feel like what we already have on the server might not be enough and that's why people aren't joining, but I'll try changing the banner to this one and seewhat happens

    Well I usually use very close friends, but if that doesn't fail I often have them jump on some form of voice chat so I can talk to the person. If their voice sounds like they are a little kid, heck no. The last thing I want is some 13 year old being a staff member on my server, might as well just tell them to blow up your world because that is what you are gonna get.

    TNT block damage is disabled on my server. It'll do player and mob damage but that's it. In the main survival world, it'll do block damage but the land will regenerate.

    Sounds like a great solution to the problem, the TNT can still be used for PVP effectively, but it's not possible to use it for grieving.
    Do you have any other rules of that sort?

    When I was an owner of the server, we required other player to make an application on forums, so we would know their past experience.Mature players who never hacked or spammed are recommended.

    Well, I can't think of any servers that would hire hackers and spammers for their server staff...
