Have you played Ubisoft games before?

Child of Light is like 12 to 15 hours long in case you're wondering.
I don't mind long games honestly, if I like them a lot I'll just play them in multiple sessions, even though it's just one hour for each one. I don't want to feel like I'm in a hurry when I play videogames, I play them to have fun. :)

Always been a big fan of Ubisoft games. After around day 10 they are generally fixed. Bit disappointed at the recent games still...

Yupp, basically play them right on release and run the risk of bugs, or be patient and play it once it's been patched. Seems to be in line with pretty much every big AAA game these days. Since this is an MMO, I'm sure we will see patches rolled out quicker though.

I think Ubisoft games were AMAZING in the past, however I think they have gotten a little bit worse over time. They keep recycling old ideas and I want to see something new. I really enjoyed Prince of Persia and Assassin's Creed. But I lost interest in Assasin's Creed at Revelations, and The newest Prince of Persia Game was Pretty Bad. I really like Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 aswell.

That's too bad because Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was amazing. Maybe since you're taken a bit of a break, you should go back and check it out. One of the best of the Assassin's Creed series, for sure.

I've recently gone through my Steam games and found that I had downloaded a bunch of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell games. I decided to start with Conviction as it's the most recent one that I have, and I'm enjoying it so far.

Convinction is great, but a little too action-y from the Splinter Cell games I knew and love. But Blacklist fixes that, and it's one of the best games in the series. Once you've finished with Convinction, try that one. :)

The only Ubisoft games that I've played are the Assassins Creed series. I played the first three on the PS3 in a bundle, and then moved onto black flag on the PC. The graphics were incredible, the game was amazingly well done. All of them had great voice acting, good mechanics, fun story arcs. The only annoying thing was the uPlay thing that comes with the games. Accessing the multiplayer for the newer games becomes a headache when it uses the uPlay instead of PSN/Steam client connectivity.

In the end, they're a good company with small faults :D

Thanks for the recommendation! I'll definitely check out Blacklist once I'm done with Conviction. I just started but it's pretty cool so far.

Yes. Battle Realms was the first Unisoft game that I've played. I played it when I was like, what, 8? But I still absolutely adore it to this day and I even recently got it's expansion, Winter of the Wolf. Ubisoft really does put out amazing games.
