At the end of the day - there are many thing I hope we will be able to turn off in Last Light

  2. What's up with the red dot sights? Because I've checked and that exact model (SimpleX Reflex (BE 50001) from Bering Optics) is being sold in half a dozen hunting and airsoft shops in Moscow right now.

Any sights like that are expected. Those kinds of sights are common but the minigun is the one thing that shouldn't be put in the game.

They should at least discourage the player from using it. Like, for example, it gives Artyom AIDS or something.

Check that again after a nuclear War:lol:
Imo it ruins the "everything is selfbuild" feeling if you know waht i mean^^
It would be ok if there are rare or if the Red dot would be off and instead a crosshair would be scratched into the glass xD

    @Cerberus:What abou a high radioactive Minigun^^

You should get an electrical shock when you hold the mini gun. And with each passing second the voltage and amps slowly increase...

Well remember that when we saw the red dot that was in alpha. For all we know it was just a place holder and from there they're going to make it look ghetto as fuck. I would love for it to be ghetto but not to be so broken to where you're better off using the iron sights. Maybe there though be two types of red dots. The ghetto ones which would be cheaper and much easier to find or the good ones which would cost like 50 MGR and would be much rarer to find. (Kinda like the bayonet shotgun with the golden blade in 2033)

Wish they'll give the option to disable the hitmarker.... not that is something really important, i give much care to the storyline.

I saw on the wiki that the minigun uses the rare and expensive 12.7x108mm ammo, and it also probably have a really long reload time and low accuracy, and Artyom don't have much life on the game, it is probably impossible to run-and-gun with it on higher difficulties.
And I don't know why, but I loved the ideia to have broken red dots with marks on the glass showing where are you aiming.

They should have the minigun on a stand with a sign above it that reads "If you actually decide to use this you're playing the wrong game"

Maybe they'll make it so they have all those options, but you can turn them off in the options menu. I hope they make those sights expensive as heck. I like the idea of sticking to one trusty weapon all the way through, and upgrading/customizing it as you go.

Instead of fancy electronic sights i'd prefer upgrades like taped magazines, home made silencers, Sawn-off barrels for shotties - increased spread for those tight places where aim isn't a priority or fending off a pack o' lurkers. or sawn off stocks for other guns - make it quicker to switch to, aim and move with but decrease accuracy and increase recoil a shit ton? BAYONETS (and good ones this time too),

With the scarcity of Electricity in the Metro I personally just think it makes more sense to have less electronic sights. I don't have a problem at all though if they do decide to put them in, if I can deal with the problem that the flashlight never runs out of charge and just goes dim instead, I can deal with electric sights.

  16. I don't see a problem here.

    1. Armory station is capable of producing AK-74s and VSK-94s. They also have plenty of people like Andrew the Master, the maker of Volt Driver.
    2. D6 stockpiles.

You don't want this - fine, don't use it. It's optional.

    1) Minigun is unstable and would only be used in very specific scenarios.
    2) Red-Dot is basic and literally is nothing but a red dot on a relatively clear shard of glass.
    3) Hot-markers if they have to be implemented be altered into something else, a definitive blood splatter/noise when a bullet hits something.
    3) Under slung Grenades launchers (yes those are in the game) have pipe bombs and if shot could explode.
    4) IR Scopes are used mainly for enemy recognition and to prevent that really [EXPLETIVE]ing annoying smear when you used a scope with the night vision goggles. In a nutshell, if it's dark and you need to shoot from a distance; IR Scope.

These are my list of things that 4A could use if they wanted to implement such things yet still retain that metro vibe.
