How long have you been gaming?

I've been gaming for as long as I can remember. My parents had a super nintendo so I just rocked out on that as a child. Eventually I became addicted and the rest is history.

 

I started during the release of the NES, stopped for a couple of years because of school. Then I bought the SNES late and started gaming again, about a year later I got the PS1 and a PC and have been gaming ever since. All these together is about 20 years I think.

 

Since I was probably 4 or 5. Pokemon all the way lol! Crazy to look back and think how many years of my life I have (wasted LOL) been gaming.

 

I started off gaming at a very young age. I do not remember it quite well but I believe I started at the age of 10 with the SEGA. Mortal Kombat was my first game that I've played on it. After that, Pokemon was released on television and eventually the games were released as well afterwards. At the age of 12 I started to buy myself a Gameboy and bought myself Pokemon Blue. I got myself a Gameboy Color and then upgraded myself into a Gameboy Advance a few months later. Then at the age of 16, I found out about MMORPG online games and the laptop/desktop computer was my new best friend and has been since then.

 

For most of my life so far I would say, at least since I was around 7 or 8 years old. I always found it as a fun activity to do when my friends could not hang out or I was not feeling so well; so I doubt I will stop playing anytime soon and even when I have less time to play I will hopefully still find the time to enjoy one of my favorite hobbies.

 

I have been gaming since I was around 7, when my uncle bought the Nintendo game console. I loved Mario and it was very addicting. I later began to love fighting games like Mortal Kombat and when the gameboys came out, I had to buy one. I really do miss my Gameboy. I spent so many hours playing Pokemon. Now I'm into a lot of PC games and Tekken/Blazeblue.

 

Well I have been playing games since the Gameboy era, so I guess you guys already know how long I have been playing games (and how old I am). XD

 

I've been gaming since I was old enough to walk, since my older brother did it. It's become a second nature to game for me.

 

I've been gaming since I was about 7-8 or so. My first experience with a game was on a Sega Genesis I believe, but I didn't start gaming until I got my N64. Then I started PC gaming when I started playing Unreal Tournament when I was 11 on my dads old PC, and I've been a PC gamer ever since. I have almost 200 games on my Steam account which I created in 2007.

My last console I owned was the Gamecube and I dumped consoles entirely with the advent of the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 (although my GF has a PS3 which I sometimes use for Netflix) since consoles stopped supporting local splitscreen, thus removing their one useful feature they had over PCs.

 

I started playing video games when I was seven or eight. I was at Blockbuster checking out PlayStation games while my father educated me on which games were appropriate for me. We chose Spyro and took it home and played it all night and woke up early the next day to keep playing. It's my oldest and favorite gaming memory. I still remember it like it was yesterday.

 

I would say probably around age 7. This would be 1986. ^_^

It was a handheld device with a Start, Off and Action button and direction keys. Forgot the actual game though. It had something to do with popping balloons.

 

Seriously into gaming...I would say about 20 years ago. I`ve got my first console, a Sega Genesis, at that time, and have been hooked to video gaming ever since.

 

Since I was about 6 years old.

 

I have been playing video games since the age of 5-6. My first video game was on PC. I was super into good old "Pajama Sam" and "Putt Putt." I can't remember a time where I wasn't spending hours at a computer playing video games.

 

I started gaming my freshman year of college when I was 19, and I am going to turn 25 in just a few short months. I guess I have been at it for almost 6 years, wow I didn't realize it had been so long. I really enjoy it though.

 

I've been gaming since i was around 5 years old, because my brother introduced me to halo. I've been hooked ever sinse!

 

My first system was Nintendo when I was about 5 years old . Since then I suppose. Much less now because of life and its responsibilities.

 

Since I was 5, pretty much. Started with a N64 and a PS1 and have been playing ever since.

 

I have been playing casual games for around 6-7 years, but only just started playing more intense ones in the last 3 years or so. I played more since I got a better PC and got access to more interesting titles.

 

I have been playing video games since I was a very young child. It all started with kid learning games on the pc and Mario on the nintendo 64. Born in 94, I would play games like Warcraft, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee/Exodus, Earthworm Jim, and Tomb Raider at a very young age. In fact, Warcraft and Billy Joel have since become synomenous in my mind, as my mum would play Billy Joel when doing housework, while I would be playing Warcraft. But once I got an xbox for christmas when I was like 11, my addiction only got worse.
Gaming sort of runs in my family, on my mothers side they are all big gamers, so it is really no surprise I love gaming as much as I do. Long story short, I have been gaming, since I was widdle child.
