I usually play for a least 2 hours, if I have less time available than that then I just don't play the game, I find something less addicting to do.
If I have enough free time for it, I can play for over 5 hours before I realize how much time has passed.

It really depends depending on my first run, if I didn't die then I'd be playing for almost 5 hours straight. Once I die I just turn the game off. As for a one sitting session, well I think the longest I've had ever played was an 8 hour session with my girlfriend but that was a long time ago, long before work was a bummer.

I usually about 2-3 hours when my family isn't home and I have lots of time on my hands when school calms down a bit. Now that its summer time and I'm on break from school I can see myself going about 5-6 hours non stop.

I typically play Minecraft for 2-3 hours. Some nights I will play much longer and some nights I won't play at all. About a year ago I would play Minecraft nearly all day, most days. I cut back because my vision started to take a beating after several weeks of practically non stop gaming.

When I'm playing single player, it's normally a little under a hour. And when I am playing online, whether with friends or strangers, the hours pretty much fly by me, haha. I'd say about 3-4 hours on average.

Well what I like about Minecraft is that it is one of those games you can play in window mode and watch a movie or show at the same time. Sometimes it is hours that I am playing, mostly on my Skyblock server and it's relaxing to play and watch a show.

I would consider myself to be a "binge player". I can go weeks or months without playing at all. However, when I do decide to fire it up, then watch out! I have been known to spend my entire weekends doing nothing but playing minecraft. I just get so sucked in, it's hard to stop.

Whenever I play, I try to set out at least 2 hours to play. If that means not playing all day, that's what I do. I like to sit down and get to relax and play for long sessions rather than short bursts. I think that's the way the game was made to play. Playing in short bursts, placing blocks for ten minutes before quitting, just is not fun for me.

There were a time I played like 5-6 hours, which is a lot in my opinion. Nowadays I mostly play 30 mins to 1 hour. I get bored after that because it's so easy.

5 hours is way too much! What would you do in that time?

That's an answer I have too say varies. Not to sound vague at all just there is so many times when my mind changes like the wind. But I guess on a typical eh OK day I play for about 2 hours. However there a lot of times when I get dizzy from looking at the screen which leaves me with sessions lasting a nice 15 minutes. Usually the dizzy days come more and more often however.

On a happy, and great feeling day I can play for 3 and a half hours straight. Even the weather on the game sometimes determines how long I'll play.(Did she just say the weather? Yes the weather.) I like when it rains on Mine Craft and will usually continue playing until it stops. on other days I like when it's just nice weather and my mood and condition of health determines what length of time I'll play from there.

It depends on what I plan to do - if I'm going to build a huge castle then I may take around 1-4 hours, but if I just want to collect some wheat and explore a little then maybe 20-50 minutes.

It really depends on the day and also the platform. I only have the Mac and iPad/iPhone versions... I actually find I spend a lot more time in a sitting if I'm playing the MCPE version, even though there's so much less to do. I've got a older model computer with some heating and airflow issues, so I tend to have to keep my Minecraft sessions pretty short, but I love being able to lounge around with my iPad and play MCPE for hours while the family watches TV or does something else around me.

On average I only play Minecraft when I have a lot of time to waste. So I will usually hop on a couple of online servers, then get on my personal world and play around with mods. All this combined gives me around three to four hours of fun. On top of this I do recordings in Minecraft, and these recordings will take up to an hour or so to finish. So in the end I spend about five hours per session.

When I was really into Minecraft, I would play from 2-5 hours every day. But now I play it casually for around 15 minutes to an hour.

For me, usually 1 or 2 hours. I build, hunt and mine stuff and if I get bored I'll create a new world and do the same thing again.

Depends if i'm in the mood. If I'm in a good mood I will create extensive upgrades and do a lot of thing. If I'm just a bit bored or disgruntled, I'll just harvest my farm and kill animals for meat.

Two to three hours, but it does depend on the task at hand. When work load is low, like just running the farm/animals or maintaining the city, maybe even just one hour. But on a build day, that's when it gets heavy. I could spend a whole night just building a structure or two.
