How many hours a day/week/month do you play?

Yeah, I remember I was jobless back then. I would wake up, turn on my PS2 and start my day. That was maybe 5 years ago. It was unhealthy, I put on a lot of weight during those days.

 

Back in high school, when things weren't as complicated as they are now, I used to play at least 3 hours a day even during school days. During the weekends, I would spend 5-10 hours a day in front of my PC playing MMORPGs. How I miss those days! Things began to change as soon as I entered college, though I still play about 5 hours a week up to this day.

 

I remember when I used to sit idle in my house and play games, but I couldn't gain any weight. I am still a skinny guy despite hitting the gym on a regular basis. I am lucky though.

 

I play when I can really these days. I am always trying to play, so sometimes it can be an hour to three hours if I have nothing to do. When I am having a lot of fun I can see myself playing more hours than normal.

 

Well at that point of my life i have lots of free time on my own, so when i'm not studying, im usually playing video games. I would say about 4 hours a day, i know that's a lot for a student!

 

I'm currently in High School, and I get tons of homework every single day. I'm an A+ student (Top 20 in my school grade every year) so I have to strive to keep up my grades by studying and doing my homework. As such, I don't really play games that much often anymore as I used to. I guess when I'm done my homework, I do go on to play some games occasionally, but overall it would probably be 2-3 days per weekday with each day consisting of 30 minutes to 2 hours of gameplay, and then around 2-3 hours on the weekend. So on average, about 6-8 hours per week? It kind of feels a lot, and I feel like I should play less if I want to have my marks improve even further.

 

I don't play that many games, but still a few.

If on average, I'd play like 2 hours max each day, it gets boring if you play it for longer and it hurts my eyes.
It's always good to play something every day otherwise you'd be bored to death.

 

I play a lot. When it comes to the total time I spend in front of the computer it usually equals to anything between 4 and 12 hours, which really is a lot in my opinion. Games take up lots of time and you really need to know when to stop having fun and get down to business. That was very hard for me to learn at first but it's as if I'm used to it now.

 

I have a small attention span so I can't just sit and play a game for more than two hours. I either have to switch games or come back to it later.

 

I used to play pretty much all day long every days; it was a bad addiction really.
Nowadays I hardly play at all. I'll just play for a couple of hours once in a while. any more than that and I just feel like I'm being so unproductive and wasting my time so I'll go do something else.

 

Our guild has 3 raids per week and one event for lower level players, making that 4 evenings per week. I usually come play most of them so roughly it makes around 10-12 hours per week.

Used to play for much more years ago and when I was leveling my characters.

 

Don't play as much as a lot of people here. Usually, around 5-6 hours a week. Used to play a lot more when I was younger.

 

I only play for a couple hours a week now, but a few years ago I would have played for around 20 hours a week - far too much and I really had the gaming/rest of life balance out of wack for a while.

Still, I had a couple high level toons to show for it!

 

Right now I only play 20 hours a week if there is no big release in that period. A few years back I was a maniac, obsessed with video-games and playing 7-10 hours every day but after getting a job my playing time was reduced drastically.

 

I play about 40-50 hours a week, and that is just without weekends . Anyways, I don't have a job, so that is what is really letting me put all of this time into my games. I am surprised on what times other people are reporting too, I was very surprised when someone reported about the same amount a week as I do...

 

I was kinda disappointed that I wasn't able to play anything today. When I have days like this I end up playing for like seven hours the next day.

 

I could never spend that much time playing any MMO usually I don't have a lot of time to play so when I do I usually play something else because a lot of times I don't play for a couple of months and when I come back the economy has change so much and usually not for the better I sadly don't have any high level toons just a lot of low level toons.

 

I play somewhere around 4-5 hours a day if time allows me, perhaps more.

Right now I'm caught up in Hearthstone, Xcom, Dota2, Lineage2, replaying KOTOR and a few other things. I wish the day was 50 hours long...

I enjoy spending time on my PC and hate sunlight. I work from home and procrastinate A LOT so that allows me to game more than the average person. When my decent video card arrives (will be a black Friday purchase) I might start streaming some of my gaming. Now if only I had a dual monitor!

 

Back when I was still in school I used to play literally most of the day. As soon as I came back from school I would turn on my computer and start a game and I would sit there and play until the evening, not even pause to eat something. I always got up extra early in the mornings to do my homework, if I then had still time left before school I would sit in front of the monitor again. Nowadays I'm not playing that much, usually about two or three hours a day.

 

Back in the day, more than I care to admit. Those were the times, weekdays were a bit more tamer, but when weekends came, well... In the past few years I've toned it down a bit and although I'm currently not playing an MMO, last I've seen myself spending 1 to 3 or 4 hours/day.
