How many hours a day/week/month do you play?

I agree about the weekends, when we have so much free time it's so easy to spend more time on games than usual. Weekdays are tough because, well, we have lives and jobs. I see myself playing more than 4 hours a day sometimes but if it's more than half the day, I tend to stop or I'll be mad at myself for playing so much because it's such a huge waste of time if I spend a whole day on a game.

 

Last time I used to spend an average of 8 hours daily everyday. Sometimes, I'd skip a meal because I got too hooked with the game I was playing. After I've gotten a job I already cut back a lot, nowadays I only login two to four hours a day to play. Unless, I find something that really interests me like some badass weapon, I rarely go beyond four hours.

 

On the weekend it can vary from two to eight hours a day, and on the weekday, probably no more than four hours. Although, I guess it doesn't really count if I'm AFK half the time. It depends what I'm playing and if there are any events I want to participate in. Though, I admit in the summer it's much longer periods of time, as I have nothing much better to do. But I did enter college this year, so there's a lot more to do on campus than my high school days, not that it'll probably ever completely get rid of this hobby. Though I do feel bad putting off my work/sleep sometimes to play.

 

At my peak, 20+. Now, under 3 per week.

 

I play about an hour-and-a-half a day, for about 5 days a week or so. I usually play one game until I get bored with it then switch to something else.

 

I don't know the exact time, but it's probably around 7 to 10 hours every week, it depends on my free time.

 

I'm unemployed at the moment, so I have lots of potential free time to play. That being said, I usually restrain myself from playing more than 10 hours a week on a game. I'm trying to use this opportunity to improve myself in whatever way I can.

 

I usually play 3 hours or more every day. This includes game that aren't MMOs though.

 

More than I would like to admit! I'm a stay at home mom of two young kids, so I have a lot of free time on my hands. I generally play anywhere from 2-5 hours a day straight. I will log in during the day and just idle in a main town while I tab out and take care of other things. At that point it's more of a fancy social platform than a game to me. I save my actual game time for at night when my husband is home and can enjoy it with me.

 

When I was playing the most, I'd spend 4-5 hours playing. Now, probably less than three hours a week. It just took too much time away from my other interests, like reading and painting.

 

I'm unemployed at the moment, therefore I have more time to play. I usually play almost 10 hours a week. I don't see it as a bad thing though. I have been playing only 2-3 hours a week for the past 4 years. I've just finished college, therefore taking a break isn't so bad.

 

At the peak of my addiction, I was spending 10~15 hours a day playing Neverwinter Nights and Lineage 2. Of course, it's during summer vocation since I was still a student. Pretty much aside sleep, eat, restroom time, I was playing all the time lol. My schedule was messed up big time. Sometimes I played until the morning before went to sleep. I remember one time I woke up and I wasn't able to tell how long I had slept. I wasn't sure if I had slept an entire day and woke up on the second day or if I only slept a few hours lol. Cos it was 6, and for a moment I wasn't able to tell if it was am or pm... haha. Terrible addiction!

During the school days, I spent most of my free time playing. It would still add up to be 5~8 hours a day.

 

Hmm...let's see. I spend at least 2 hours playing MMO during workdays (5 days) and 6 hours on my days off (2 days), so to sum it all up that makes it 22 hours every week. Damn, now I feel like I have no life.

 

I have a lot of free time on my time, naturally I spend it gaming, I probably spend an average of 50~60 hours a week playing games, with a good 20 hours going into FFXIV if not more these days.

Sleeping is overrated anyways, why sleep when I can play games and do productive work ~

 

Maybe 2-3 hours a day. Back when I used to play Runescape and WoW all day, I'd log like 8 hours a day total, so I've gotten better.

 

Last summer I invested almost every hour of the day into video games. Toward the end of summer I realized I was developing an unhealthy habit and needed to prepare myself for school. I reduced my playing time to a few hours a day, but now I'm at the point of playing maybe a few hours a week. Video games don't seem to interest me like they used to, but I still have a passion for them.

 

I play a fair amount every day due to the relatively relaxed schedule that we have at my university. I probably put about 4 hours a day into video games. I probably spend quite a bit more time per day playing games on weekends though. Sometimes I'll play for 10 hours on a saturday if I am really into some game. As long as it doesn't interfere with my sleep or class work I am not really bothered too much.

 

I don't even game much nowadays, but there was a time (in high school) where 8-9 hours was no sweat on the computer. It eventually caught up with me and I quit. I was one of the lucky ones.

 

As of right now I wish I could play for about half of that time this week I didn't play any games which was a 1st for me hopefully this Saturday I might have time to play something if nothing comes up.

 

I probably play around 20-30 hours a week. Which is pretty crazy honestly. It's like having a part time job. The main reason for that is that I'm one of the leaders of a guild. So I kind of feel obligated to play sometimes.
