How many MMO's can you play at once?

Usually I'm rather pressed for free time lately, so more than one dedicated game is a really difficult thing to manage. I used to be able to play 2 (EVE Online plus I'd fill downtime in EVE with other MMOs) games regularly, but now 1 is even starting to be too much of a time sink. I started playing Neverwinter recently, and because it's F2P, I'm under no rush or sense of obligation to "get my moneys worth", sense I'm not spending any on it.

When I was a tad bit younger, I used to manage 3 MMORPGs at once. It's true that I wasn't that much of a raider or a top-level player, but I loved to grind stuff. Now that I am a bit older and I have more responsibilities, I barely manage to play World of Warcraft.

If I really wanted to, I think I could manage 2 at the most, and I wouldn't really have any quality gear in either of them.

I prefer to focus on one MMO at a time, to get immersed in the lore and its gameplay. I'm sort of a perfectionist :/

I was playing 2 at one point but I haven't had the time to dedicate myself to them as much anymore. Sigh. GW2 for my PvP needs and WoW for my PvE fix.

I have lots of free time, and even then, I find it hard to dedicate myself hardcore to more than one MMO at a time. I tried juggling FFXIV and ESO for about a month, but it just became too much, so I dropped ESO for now. Between real world commitments, other videogames I want to play etc, I just don't want to play multiple MMO's anymore, lest all my free time gets eaten up by playing two or so different games.

I am playing Elder Scrolls Online and occasionally, SWTOR. Previously, I was playing SWTOR, WoW and WoT. Since I don't play them every day, it's just games I play every now and then. Heck, I have over 50 single-player games installed on my computer and I go through 2-3 of them every now and then.

When I read "at once" in the title I had this image in my head of someone playing like 5 MMOs literally at the same time, so like they have 4 PCs and 1 console going and they're fighting their way through the boss on all of them at once and . . . .

    AHEM, anyway, that aside.
When I play any game, I like to focus on that one until completion. Obviously that's different with open ended games & MMOs because there's really no point where the game is done, unless you consider completion to be unlocking everything there is to see & own, or getting every achievement / trophy available in the game. So I put myself into one open ended game at a time. It isn't even by choice either, really; I just automatically neglect games in favor of my favorite one because I can't concentrate on too many of them at a time.

Lol playing on 4 PCs at once, that's funny. That's definitely not how I did it! I split days on which game I played.

2's generally a good number of MMO's to dedicate time to. 1 MMO doesn't always give a person everything they're looking for. When I was doing GW2 and WoW- I spent more time on WoW mainly cause sub prices and to get ahead with PvE, it requires more time commitment. GW2 on the other hand- I can just take my sweet time doing whatever but the combat system in GW2 just makes PvP so fun.

I can usually only handle one at a time. I get really into the MMOs I play and want to get the most out of it. I don't have a lot of gaming time available so I get the most out of just one game at a time. I tried to focus on two in the past because I had started a brand new game but wanted to keep in touch with my friends in my old game, but it didn't really work out. I stopped playing the old game and my closest friends almost all ended up moving games with me anyway. Juggling games sounds stressful to me! I guess I invest too much in each one for that.

I also only have a max of two games at once. I wouldn't even really be concentrating on both at once. I would set my character for one of the rpgs to do something automatically while I focus on the other game. Switching back and forth is too complicated for me and would probably ruin my mood to play.

I've found really only one. They are just too time consuming if you are really into them. I tried WoW and Eve at the same time, however, to no avail. Just couldn't balance.

I usually only focus on 1 MMO at a time. I cannot really split my time, by playing more then 1. If I get hooked to one particular MMO, I`m exclusively playing it, disregarding any other game, even single player ones.

3 or 4?! :p I can't even give my attention to the 2 MMO's I play now, lol. Sadly I am either playing one or the other and the one I'm not playing gets neglected. :(

I can play multiple different video games on the same day, but i can't play multiple different MMORPG at the same time without simply fooling around on all but one of them. MMORPG requires focus of time and effort to do well as these days most of such games are hardcore enough to take majority of your time in order to stay competitive in the game against other players. If you divide your time and effort among multiple games, you won't be doing well in any of them. Only at one point I was playing more than one MMORPG on the same day, but at the time I pretty much got bored with one so I decided to try out others one at a time.

Only one. MMOs are a real time sink so I can only focus on one at a time.

Oh, no, don't ask me that! I suck at multitasking. I can't even watch TV and eat at the same time, so what expectations could you have from me playing games at the same time? In spite of this rather odd aspect of my persona... I usually get the stuff done quickly! If I concentrate a lot on that respective thing, it's done in no time and very seamlessly. So... if I play one MMO at a time, I will play it neatly, trust me on that.

Lots of people who can play more than two or three or more at a time and that's just impossible for me. I have a lot of obligations and can barely keep up with the games I'm currently playing. I call it playing three games at the time, but in truth I only play one game a day and that's it.

I'd say around two if you have other commitments with a job, school, etc. MMOs are immersive games that tend to suck some time outta you so it can be a lot to manage multiple at a time.

All depends on the mechanics of said games. It's possible but only if one is casual friendly vs the other. That's why I managed WoW and GW2 for the longest time before burning out on WoW and going strictly GW2 for now. I'm speaking this from experience even when I was working full time with a 3.5 hour total commute and part time college.

I prefer to focus on two or three good MMORPG games at once. If I get bored in one game I start playing another game in between so I play every one of them evenly.
