    Over a million I think. Many people bought the game legally and also many people pirated the game. So I think millions of people are playing Minecraft.

    Probably millions. The game is really popular through out the world so I'm pretty at least it reaches the million marks of players both offline and online. A single server alone can contain thousands of players and that's just on that server.

    Well I can't really say exactly but I'm pretty sure it's not on the lower numbers. Probably millions of people play it, the game is really popular and it's only possible that it reaches millions.

    I think that Minecraft is played by 100 or 90 million people in the world, including the pirate users. It's the most best-selling game in the world!

    I agree with many people. I think that it goes into the millions! Minecraft is a really successful game, which means tons of people play it!

    Well, it says how many people have bought the game on the main Minecraft website.

    So far 16,624,763 people bought the PC/Mac version of the game. Phew.

    That's what it says, but it leaves the question of how many people actually play the game regularly, and that counter doesn't count the copies purchased before 1.7.2 Beta.
