How often do you start new worlds?

I actually don't. My server OP does, though. I never found single player as fun as playing Minecraft with others. Our server usually only restarts with large updates related to exploration and the map. I think we restarted for the horse update, every new biome updates, etc. It drove a lot of people away, unfortunately, because they were too attached to their builds. Which is just silly when you're playing multiplayer. It's to be expected, really, if you ask me. Plus I find that half the fun (all the fun really) is in building for me, so I didn't mind that the resets always happened as I about finished some crazy new huge project. I am rather sad that I accidentally deleted my first world though, it would have been fun seeing how I've evolved as a player after a while. I played sinle player for like a weeek before moving to multiplayer where I learned practically everything I know on my main server. Redstoning, how to cook smooth stone, "why won't this portal connect guys!", etc. If I remember correctly my first home was made of dirt and had a rudimentary mob trap that I made accidentally when a creeper blew up next to a lake. The thing formed itself, haha.

Oh wow, I think I have hundreds, not counting the ones I deleted. I mod my game a lot, so I usually make a new world every few hours. There are a couple worlds I keep and back up, including my first world I ever made, my best survival worlds, and my creative world. I put so many mods on per day it's insane, so I back up the ones I really need and make tons of test worlds. Those are only the ones on the vanilla Minecraft launcher, don't get me started on the ones on the Technic Launcher.

    Few months? Try several hours!

I'm generally not very attached to my creations so I find myself restarting worlds very quickly. I generally play on other's servers so my own worlds are usually reserved for quick testing or just goofin' around. If I do make something notable I do end up saving it as a schematic using MCEdit. I do have one world saved that has all my collections in one place but I usually don't go out of my way to save things.

I get bored really easily so once in a few months I find myself starting a new world. This is what makes the game interesting, at least in my opinion :D .

I only create worlds often if I am in creative and feel like making TNT cannons to shoot at villages. I usually set up superflat desert, find a village and then start my villager torture run. Then I have maybe two single player survival maps made to go to those if I actually want a challenge.

Every 2 days I think. When I build a house, farm, barn and etc. I make a new world, I get bored easily and I don't care if I'm going to build houses again. It makes me happy when I'm building houses.

I delete and make new worlds ALL the time! At least once a week. The excitement of spawning someplace new and finding out what is around you is really enticing to me - and some of the most fun times I have in game. Though, I do still have my "original" game that I've had for ages. I pop into it every so often to marvel at what I accomplished before I really knew much of how minecraft worked. Then I log out, and create a new world to start again.

I start new worlds by just naming the world some random name I thought up on the spot, and hitting start new world. After I start the world, I like to do my exploring later in my world, once I already have my base set up, I just do the regular wood chopping, and try to get some tools and a base set up before the first night. After I get my first base set up, I upgrade my base to a large house, then start to do other things like exploring caves for mining, and adventuring.
