How should the story be in Last Light?

Stalker is non-linear rpg shooter in a open world, so on that side it's different from Metro.
But it has the same deep atmosphere from Sovjet-shooters and there is also much survival-horror. 4A games is also formed out of the team that made Stalker.

 

the Stalker trilogy, alongside Metro are the best games out there for me. try them, you won't be dissapointed.

 

Yes Prince, you definitely should check out the Stalker games if you loved Metro. They are slightly less polished but more ambitious, and pretty much just as awesome. I guess they are better from a gameplay standpoint, though slightly worse when looking at the narrative.

 

That's a pretty much sums up all of Call of Duty's campaigns, except for Call of Duty 1, the PC exclusive.

 

Oh man, back in the day, the first Call of Duty really was something quite special... I will never forget that badass Stalingrad level... but then everything started going downhill straight away at number 2, starting with regenerative health. It's a shame they just had to milk the franchise to death. What once used to be an awesome FPS set in World War II has become a mediocre, copy & paste title perfect for right-wing racists to shoot Arabs, Slavs and pseudo-communists in the singleplayer and a game of close-quarters-combat for spoiled brats in multiplayer.

they use american weapons in real life. apart from the enfield and a few others because they are made perfectly as they used american armor mostly in ww2 or there copy of the sherman.

I feel the muslims, it's sad that the game developers always have them as villains, and I have to say that even though I'm not racist AT ALL, it still forced me to look an extra time at an arabic man parking a van outside my school today. I hate to admit it

But I'm sure most players of those games (Medal of Honor included), know that those games are exaggerated.

 

It's not your fault, Dark. The games are made in a way that they end up instilling islamophobic feelings in the player's head. I'm sure that most of the development teams on the games didn't mean to do this - it's just terrible game design, that demonizes an entire culture for no other purpose than to make them an evil baddie in the series' plot.

Besides, what's most worrying is that it sells so well; and the problem is, many people who play CoD are kids and young adults who actually learn these xenophobic views because they don't know any better. The school I go to is a perfect example of that: the majority of the younger kids (and even some people my age) tend to make some kind of racist comment about Islam in every conversation that has the word "terrorist" in it.

 

i work in the junior high office for a block so i hear them talking about that kinda stuff a lot it makes me sad
