    First of all this isn't run by thq. Streff and Luster worked hard to get thq to learn about this forum and support it. And second I meant a petition to use this forum as an official question answer thing instead of the previously unofficial thing that thq had with us. :p

    First, I was not aware that this was not a THQ site. Seeing as the only admin is Joe, you can see why Id assume it is. As for Luster, I was unaware if he was a THQ employee or not. Exscuse me for thinking a publishing company would be good enough to create an awesome forum such as this.

    Second. Deep Silver is a publishing company as the published Dead Island and S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky. Thank you Odessa for backing me up.

    Third of all, if that is what you meant Stalker then you did not explain it well.

    Ugghhh. FML. I assumed he was because his name was red (which is usually the color assigned to Admins on every other forum I've ever registered to, which is a lot). I feel so ashamed with myself right now :/

    Other than my epic fail. I have good news. The message I sent last night was replied this morning by the Internal Community Manager of Deep Silver, Maurice Tan. If a moderator or admin could PM me their email address, I could set you up in contact with Maurice. He seems very interested in the forums survival and as this forum is run by a third party there is a low chance of any legal issues arising from THQ.

    I agree with I Hate Lurkers, a petition would be absolutely idiotic. We'd get like, 20 signatures, and we don't need to convince them of anything; this site (along with the Wiki) are valuable assets that Deep Silver will recognize, and hopefully, utilize.

    I've been talking to Maurice for a good portion of the evening and I have to say I am liking Deep Silver's first impression. Maurice seems genuinely interested in our community and said he will most likely make his introduction on the forum tomorrow. Glad to see them working hard.

    A lot has happened during my time off the forum today, I see. I'm grateful to all of you who have contacted Deep Silver in the meantime and I'm glad that they have shown interest. Looks like we might get Last Light under a good publisher after all.
