    You don't strike me as the kind of person who appreciates pity or sympathy, so all I'll say is that while it's certainly not the most conventional solution, I think we know each other well enough as a group to qualify as friends to at least some degree. If you ever want to talk about stuff, you know we're here, for what it's worth.

    What Potarto said, Komodo. You should just see all the operah-material I've posted in the "What's up" thread. This forum isn't only about Metro, it's about a community who finds that they have a lot of things in common just like we've got Metro in common. And when there are things we disagree about, or don't have in common, we settle down to contemplate and elaborate about it, to discuss and argue. Just because some people have made holidays miserable for you, doesn't mean holidays is a bad thing for everyone else, nor does it mean that we will make it any miserable for you. From what I can tell, it seems like you're stuck in the past.

    I don't celebrate New Year's eve, Easter, National day, Birthdays, Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas or any other special holidays that I might've forgotten to put on the list. I guess it'd be harder for anyone else to not celebrate them, as they're used to doing so, whilst I am used to not celebrating anything from my birth of. People ask me "Isn't it horrible not to be able to throw a birthday party or come to anyone else's? Isn't it awful to have nothing to do with Christmas at all when it's such a jolly holiday?", and I answer "No. It's not horrible or awful, because I don't know what it's like to celebrate either of those. I do, though, get the opportunity of relaxing and being with myself and doing what I want and not having to spend money on a ton of gifts for everyone else".

    You know what komodo go fuck yourself people offer to talk with you and you ignore them people try to sympathise with you and you ignore them.
    all you do on threads is complain how bad life is, you have a computer the internet and a lot more than most people. i did try to like you but you are so fucking hostile, so goodbye and have a happy new year.

    To be fair, we tend to kind of ask him about this kind of stuff. It's not like he's just going around complaining, he's just answering somewhat personal questions on our end.

    And not everybody with issues in life is looking for sympathy. Komo's just giving us the glimpse into his life that we asked for, and things don't seem to be going particularly well for him.

    I don't think he's looking for sympathy. I'm pretty sure he was (mostly) joking around. Maybe a little bit less so in the cancer comment, but I kinda understand him on that one, and I doubt he actually hopes we die of cancer.

    I feel no sympathy for a man who uses the pity card as a means to be as much of a dick as he pleases. I have been a part of these forums for a long while, and I have put up with Komodo's shit for long enough.

    Hey Komodo, you define your own existence. Using the fact that you're crippled as a get-out-of-jail-free card, or to bypass the idea that you can still become something is only a prelude to the moment you realize that you can, and you've been robbing yourself all of this time.
