    I dont mind about weapon choice as long as they limit the minigun
    if the minigun is, hopefully limited to that single mission im happy.
    Other wise ill be all angry face =[

    ya i would be soo happy if last light had like a stealth mission on the surface wen u have to like assassinate someone with a silenced sniper. idk think itd be really cool!

    To be honest, I'd be much happier if they got rid of the minigun and included some badass Russian weaponry from World War Two.

    As I said in another thread, at first I was against the minigun (I still am, kinda), but there is some basis in the book for them to work on, namely when Bourbon says Artyom could get a weapon at Market Station which could wipe out half the Metro, and then Melnik carries a light machine-gun (not a sub machine-gun) with a massive belt of ammo. And then they're opening D6 and finding a massive armory...

    well the soviets did developed hand held miniguns

    Anyway, i hope to see some type of weapons wich are still today in many russian arsenals=

    AK 47 and AKM
    Mosin nagant M91/30 and M44 Carbine
    PM M1910 maxim and SG43 (these could make cool alternative static MG's)
    And i hope we see an epic stechkin APS or Makarov. While i love Metro 2033, the .44 magnum revolver made me 'WTF?"

    I would like to see a MGV-176 would be implausibble but awesome nonetheless

    Would be expensive to shoot but would be devestating with 20 rounds per seconds using the most silent and common cartridge + it could be gotten with a suppressor. I know it would be illogical but still.

    There would be nerd stains all over the floor if Last Light had an old PPSH-41 with the drum-like magazine in it. I'd lose my cookies with happiness... However, I do not see how a French gun (I believe,) would end up in the Metro. Maybe if some old retired stalker said he found it up above in some museum or something. That'd be tight!

    It's completely russian, not french. And according to what I read on Wikipedia, it was still in use until at least 2002 by irregular military forces + approximately 6 mil. were built. So it wouldn't be too unrealistic :)

    i read somewhere that 4a accually have a guy that makes all the "home made" guns in real life to see if there realistic

    Yeah, he actually made a mini gun model out of clock parts. So I can see that they do really try and make this realistic. :)
