I can't lie about rage quitting from time to time. In my defense, it is extremely rare for me to rage quit. When I was an immature kid, I did it more often.

Pretty much every other game on non-ranked matches. They get killed a lot early, they don't get their items fast enough, they do a stupid mistake and get embarrassed for it. It's really entertaining to watch them explode online while playing, as it makes the match more fun for me, seeing this idiot call everyone names and leaving before the match gets even decided. Perks of playing online, I guess.

Yeah, raging is a part of any competitive game I guess. It's just a matter of learning how to control your emotions. At the end of the day we play better when we're calm anyway.

I don't rage quit anymore, mostly because I'm just not that into it anymore. Back in the day when I was super competitive, there were some moments that I'm not too proud of. It's a two sided coin in that I may not play as well because I'm as emotionally invested, but it is also true you play better when you are more relaxed.

I think not caring as much actually makes you play better. It lets you try out new playstyles without being held back by the fact that it went wrong and you'll lose because of it. My best games are usually when I just get into a match and have fun. If I start getting upset at my team I know I'll start making stupid mistakes.

It's definitely the best way to learn new stuff. When you are really trying to win, you mostly likely will stick to what you know works. It's definitely more fun to try different things.

Same for me. When I'm not that invested in winning I get to relax and it's how I play best in most cases. If I'm more loose I tend to become a bit more confident and I just end up being more calm and focused that I get to do the right things at the right time.

I generally always go for the win, but when I'm not so invested in winning, I'll be more loose with my play. I can be more creative in the heroes I use and different styles of play. It definitely makes sense that you play better when you are more loose.

I agree. I also do want to win of course haha but I guess it just matters less sometimes when I'm in the right mood or mindset and when I am in that way of thinking I don't stress too much so I'm more able to make quick decisions. Sometimes the more you force it the less you perform.
