Longest time spent in one sitting?

Exactly that. It's like the claims people made about Fable before it came out are running around your head at all times.

"You see that mountain? You can climb it. You see that fort in Mario Bros? You can build it. You ever heard of the World Tree from Norse mythology? You can grow it!"

 

hahaha I am a little ashamed to be announcing this, but probably my longest sitting is about 8 hours. hahah! It's not that bad right?

 

Wow, that's a long time but I really shouldn't say anything. I wasted entire days on other game such as WoW.

 

Compared to some other people, no, not really. That seems to be the average binge time that I have seen around this thread.

 

8 hours is a lot, but I've heard of people who went for 12 hours! Some even go 15 or more! It's insane!

 

When I first started playing, I spent about 12 hours a day, for three straight days playing. But now, it can average 1 - 4 hours, when I actually get the time to sit down and play.

 

I would probably have to say 6-7 hours. I was trying to build a nice mansion aside of my real house and mining for diamonds. This is when I stopped playing for a while and started playing again and man was I hooked. It took a few weeks to stop playing it for so long but those were fun times. Now I play it for maybe an hour or two but mostly not that much anymore.

 

I played for four days without sleeping once. By the end of it, I was so tired and hopped up on caffeine I was seeing the rest of the world like it was Minecraft.

 

Well, if you take The Stanley Parable into the equation then roughly... 10 minutes at most? I've never actually played the full retail version of MC. Even if I did play it - I would be too overwhelmed with the possibilities and end up playing no more than 30-40 minutes at a time. That is my guess, at least.

 

My Minecraft binges usually involve pizza and possibly 12 straight hours of gameplay.

 

My longest was 12 hours, but I'd often play it on 6 to 8 hour binges every day. The game is seriously addicting, and it never stops getting boring!

 

Theres a few times Ive done 12-16 hours straight although its usually 3-4 hours a sitting, it all depends on what Im doing and who Im doing it with.

 

Around 7 to 8 hours playing on this one server, I was working on my Skyblock island and I guess time just vanished before my eyes. It was insane, I love Minecraft!

 

Around 2 years ago I spent 24 hours building a HUGE cobblestone castle. It was beautiful, it had its huge mob trap, tons and tons of rooms, its own armory, master bedroom and tons of more features. Unfortunately a hard drive error caused me to lose that world permanently

 

Most I've played was six hours when I was in school very bored. Good time spent.

 

8 hours making the largest tower i've ever made. it was insane.

 

Wow! Seven hours is a whole lot of time. I'm wondering how is this possible, lol.
I wouldn't withstand more than 3-4 hours.

 

My longest is probably somewhere between 6-8 hours, but I took toilet, food, phone breaks while I was playing so it's a rough estimate. I ended up playing from evening until the wee hours of the morning!

 

I usually play for maybe 2 hours at a time, but I'm not sure what my longest single sitting is. I usually leave to get something to eat and leave the game open so it's difficult to time.

 

The longest I put in was when I got it for the 360. I must have spent 6 hours just running around and building. I remember my girlfriend falling asleep when I played for a while and I was happy about that because then I didn't feel bad playing some more! It's very addictive.
