Longest time spent in one sitting?

I've spent an entire 5hours in minecraft in one sitting. It certainly was a record for me. It was that time when i finally figure out how things goes in minecraft. I've finally got the hang of things and i couldn't stop so i didn't, until 5hrs later. I enjoyed the game immensely, i still do, but i try to cut back on my playing hours as much as possible. So now, i only spend an hour or 2 in the game.

 

I played minecraft for 9 hours straight with my friends once. Only went out to the bathroom, a glass or water, or a snack. Needless to say my head and ass were numb after that session. Never again.

 

I played Minecraft for so long!! I'd come home from school at around 4:30, and then start at 5:00. I was playing on a classic server for nostaglia, but I was always about ranking up on those servers. The server I was on gave you one point per block you place, unless your "realm"(map) has more stars from people liking it. 2 stars, 2 points per block, 3 stars, 3 points per block, and so on. I played until the next morning, at 6:00, but kept playing after getting ready for school until around 7:00. That's like 13-14 hours playing minecraft at once. Such and addicting game!

 

The longest I've spent in one session was probably 12 hours. I hadn't been able to play for awhile when my laptop broke and I went crazy with it when I got back. It required a lot of redbull and chips. Other than that my norm is less than an hour or two.

 

I can't play for longer than 2 hours before i have to get up and stop for awhile. I have played all day before 2 hours at a time with potty breaks and 2 hour or so PC breaks. It really isn't healthy to sit for that long a period of time without moving about a bit.

 

Definitely! A blood clot known as Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) can show up in your veins. It can be a serious problem if you don't keep exercising or having breaks every few hours.

 

I guess eight hours. Playing with friends always makes time fly, so when we were on vacation we played tons.

The first night I played Minecraft, I probably set my record at 4 hours. Now whenever I play close to that, I just feel lazy and instantly feel like stopping... even though it is addictive.

 

I pulled several all-nighters on minecraft back when I had more spare time. It got to the point that it was starting to interrupt my sleep schedule, may have been a little too much. I would spend all night digging out a giant underground cavern in order to eventually build a city down there. Unfortunately the server admin reset the server and caused me to lose it all! I guess that's just life though.

 

I've probably spent around 4 hours in one sitting, this was on the week-end and I was building my base and it had to be finished, or else griefers or raiders would come and steal all of the stuff.

 

Good lord, all nighters? I would of been sleepy 3 hours in, and I would of dropped my head on the keyboard by 5. Too bad about your underground cavern, it's a real shame that sometimes admins don't realise the value of buildings.

 

Yeah, nowadays I feel really sleepy when I'm playing MineCraft, I guess mining underground makes me feel sleepy, it just gets boring staring at the grey, and dull atmosphere of mining but I guess you gotta' get used to it, right?

 

When i first got Minecraft, i could go 8 hour sittings just playing Minecraft. It was crazy, i would play vanilla survival day after day, then i started playing things like Tekkit or FTB. After that, I just can't sit down and play Minecraft for more than 1-2 hours, I have no idea how I ever did it before!

 

5 hrs building in creative mode multiplayer with friends. Playing with friends means more fun and longer gameplay.

 

Probably a solid 2 hours before I started getting sleepy. If you play with friends I imagine you can make something really great, but it seems like it would really take a long time to do. What genre is this game classified as? I still have no idea what kind of game it is.

 

If I have a really good idea to build, then I'll probably get a lot of it done it one day. Once, I think, I sat down and spent 9 hours straight to complete my creations. Don't remember eating much that day. Yeah, Minecraft ain't so good for your health when you have a mind like mine.

 

Really, creative mode? I get bored with that after about an hour max because there's no challenge in getting your materials. Even with friends I just have never been addicted to it.

 

Yeah, I just like to use creative mode for testing experimental redstone contraptions and just other building ideas.

 

Longest time I've spent sitting playing Minecraft was about six hours. Of course I stood up for bathroom breaks and snacks, but this is the longest time I spent sitting playing Minecraft. It was a pretty fun experience although I think I should've taken more breaks.

 

My longest session was maybe around 12 hours, I got started about 8pm after dinner and because it was the first day of vacation I decided to go to sleep later than usual, so when I noticed the time it was already 8am and the sun was up!
