    We are very picky. We prefer to stay small, organized, and high quality. This means if you do decide to apply, please put some thought and effort into it. We have no issue declining applications that are below the level we expect.

    Under a week until we can finally jump into WvW (among other things).

    Still looking to fill up some classes (over others). Special interest in Ranger/Engineer and a smaller interest in Guardians.

    We are still actively taking in applications and will be through launch. Certain classes are valued more than others. Up-to-date class needs can be found on the front page and recruitment page of our website, though Engineers and Rangers are at the top of the list.

    Website has been renovated. You are welcome to give feedback if you want. It (may) still be slowly changed, I do know the Banner is being worked on (to create a flash that cycles through multiple random ones!).

    Still recruiting as always. Special interest in Warriors, Rangers, and Engineers over other classes.

    Oh man it's so close.

    Our Mumble was updated to a new location (Chicago) to be better centralized. It was also increased in size!

    Website is looking good, may still be working on a banner/background change.

    Recruitment is trying to get everything sorted out pre-launch, all you last minute people.

    Time to have some fun! Can't say we will be SUPER forum/website active compared to being able to be IN the game.

    A short about us…

    Luciform is a hardcore PvP based guild that was originally formed for TERA. We have (obviously) moved into GW2 as a guild to find a bit more promising of a game. I could probably find some ridiculous amount of completely unrelated past accomplishments to post about but I would rather talk about what we are and what we want.

    We are built around extremely dedicated and skilled players who have various backgrounds from world firsts in various PvE settings to extremely high PvP rankings or accomplishments in MMOs throughout their history. We also have quite a lot of previously sponsored and competitive FPS players. In short, we are a bunch of very skilled people who play all the time. We prefer quality over quantity and thus have a ~40 member core we build around. We are competitive and like to win, but also like to mess around occasionally and have fun. We do not accept group applications and will not accept one person just because they may come with another. We allow FnF but only if their skill is up-to-par with what we require for Members (EX they cannot play as much but they have to be to our standards of play).

    We are currently part of the Titan Alliance and love doing WvW, as it is our MAIN focus as an entire guild. At the same time, we do sPvP and PvE in our off times in smaller groups, and are going to begin to form serious sPvP teams (no serious PvE content!?!). We try to let our actions speak for ourselves in-game.

    What we look for…

    We want hardcore, dedicated, capable players. People who can show up to our event schedule of Mon-Thur 9-12 PM EST on a regular basis (we uphold a 75% attendance policy but generally recruit people who can only make 4+ weekdays). We want players who are both skilled at the game and skilled at listening to what needs to be done. People who are not dramatic or issue causing, but can have fun and mess around when things aren’t serious.

    We do not want trash talkers, players who are not up to our play standards, people with thin skin, and those who cannot listen. You need to be able to follow our quite basic and common-sense rules, both in and out of game, lest you be kicked. You have to have a half decent computer and not be on dial-up. We also use Mumble, and you need to have a mic. Kind of basic things for a hardcore guild.

    We have no issue kicking people that are not up to par in skill, listening, or other areas. We do it without hesitation.

    Lots of information on our website, along with the capability to ask questions/etc. If you are thinking about applying, please spend some time on it. We deny a good 80%+ of our applications and are quite picky with what we move forward with. We would rather remain small and high-quality over larger and of a lesser…yeah.

    We have slightly changed our policy on "Event" times and attendance. We no longer "officially" take attendance but generally eyeball activity, as it is easily seen by our community who is capable in regards to their time and who does not fit in. We still actively play and do major events from ~7-12 PM EST ish. This has been done to better fit the fluidity of WvW and sPvP.

    Also, we are now actively recruiting and seeking skilled people SOLELY for sPvP. They will be excluded from WvW but must be dedicated to sPvP and tournaments. If you are interested, find us.

    Finally, we may edit the application slightly to better reflect these changes.
