That is a nice project. Your rooms are more open than my project. I did an above ground compound, with a secret entrance through a crypt in the cemetery. There through a series of stairs and hallways you descend into layers of my world. The first "city" is a series of dorms and shops. There is a subway system connecting each small city. I eventually got bored and blasted clear to the bottom (225 bricks deep) and at the base rock built a cathedral.

Man that looks so nice! But you need the door entrance of a village home to be exposed to the sunlight in order for it to be registered as a "village."

I have no idea what you're talking about, unless you're making a joke.

Looks neat, Alunny! Keep up the good work.
I've always made underground bases myself. They are safer, especially in multiplayer servers, but even in singleplayer, they just feel so... cozy. :)

If you look at the pictures you will see openings where there is glass in a hole, they go to the surface so each door registers. I'm not new to underground villages :).

Also there are lots of them all over the place as well because they light it up in daytime and just make it feel better overall :).

Damn man it looks amazing. I had a similar idea, although, that was built in both sides of a ravine. Yours would make a perfect setting for a horror movie. It's so eerie. Reminds me the Ember City.
Suddenly, I want to build something again. Curse you :D

I think making an underground village is quite challenging. I tried to make my own, but I failed miserably even at the carving out process to put my own village into. I just left a huge crater in the middle of my world where I was going to return to finish a village, but I never got around to it.

Nice job. Building underground/under water is one of my favorite things to do. A lot of people like to build massive above ground structures while I much rather have the hidden underground evil lair that sprawls in all directions.

It looks really cool! I love building underground. Every time I try and build above ground, my basement ends up being so much bigger than what's above ground.

That's a really nice and clean building idea. I like it a lot! I think I would make it better by going full out and making automated farms like the ones MonkeyFarm (YouTube) makes because it could be like a village + harvesting center. That's what I'd do but that's a good idea! Cheers.

That's a pretty awesome looking build you have going. Hope to see the finished product soon. I do love the idea of the drains. It adds to the scenery alot especially it being underground and all. The houses do seem a bit cramped but I'm claustrophobic so don't pay me any mind. Great work!
