    The Icelanders has this sort of a legend that says as it follows:
    In the Middle Ages, Vikings raided Great Britain and kidnapped all the most beautiful and attractive women to either marry them or make them their sex slaves (fact this that is historically documented),and this is why Iceland is full of gorgeous girls and England is full of ugly girls!

    Anyhow, about italian girls, around here we say: " A Firenze piaccion più i soldi che ì cazzo!"

    Translated in : "In Florence they like money better than the c**k!"

    EDIT: maybe this makes them look a bit sluttier than they actually are.

    Non-gorgeous (and moneyless) guys will nonetheless will have many problems finding a girl that is decent.
