    it would be interesting, but I only got a soviet army belt buckle (gold with the hammer and sickle), a gas mask, a couple of air soft pistols (SigPro 2022 and Gamo P23), a soviet army black fur hat with the red star surrounded by gold leaves in its front, a KGB pin, a police academy big bagde, Chernobyl Liquidator medal and an army belt with ammo pouches. guess I could do sometnig with that.

    I gues we could all dress up with what we have and post the pics in here.

    Me and two of my friends might be seen dressing up as metro dwellers on youtube somewhere in the future. We've got a lot of nice ideas for it, but there are two MAJOR minus'es to it:
    We're 14 years old - though this might not be easily seen as we'd be wearing gas masks, it still ruins some of the immersion...
    I'm 179 cm tall and my friend is around 168 cm tall. That's not what I think is common for a russian male...

    But I think we'll do it for the fun of it anyway.
    The reason the third guy isn't listed above is because he's the director/editor.

    We'll of course gear up with russian weaponry, an AKS-74u for me and an AK74 for him.

    There's this awesome abandoned warehouse nearby, with a dark basement and such. Perfect! :D

    Normally, I wear a pig-leather duster over a pithy green wool sweater and cargo pants with a bandana on my head. I also wear surprisingly shiny boots that I found in a side tunnel recently.

    Alright, guys. I've been thinking about this for a long time and it's been a long while since I mentioned it, so here you finally have it.
    The second one is a blurred version of the pic with me cut out from a sharp version and pasted into the blurred version. The third one is the complete blurred version.
    (Sorry that I didn't find a better background. If it was winter, i would, but as you all know, it's summer atm :p)
    Oh, and I can't imagine how awful it must be to be a metro ranger. I could only walk around at home in that equippment and those clothes before my whole body including my face was drowned in sweat :p Oh, and sorry that the cosplay is unrealistic to Metro as I have an HKG36C and a katana, as well as a british gas mask. But you gotta admit, it looks pretty friggin awesome.

    I'll agree with theta123, the g36 isn't very metro, but you really wear the rest with style. It's like you're straight outta the tunnels :D

    I'll make sure to do that :)

    I'll have to agree as well. The HK is over-doing it, and it'd be impossible to get one in the Metro anyway. Maybe I'll make some new cosplay pics when the winter arrives with better background and without the HK :3 I honestly used the HK as well because I guess I wanted to show off my stuff, lol.

    I wish I could do some Metro themed cosplay for the EB Games expo in Sydney at the end of this year. I would do it but customs might taze me if I show up with a replica ak-47 (airsoft is illegal here) at the airport. Sigh, looks like I'ma gonna have to cosplay as a wonderbolt.

    ive got an ak and an L96 a gasmask and some crappy toy helmet that ill spray paint black. but no uniform :(

    im thinking of using my dirty work cloths (and i mean there DIRTY, because i work in a steel factory) as a sort of bandit uniform. could work i guess.

    Well you could use a K6-3 for the helmet... its expensive even the replicas. but its in the game and the actor uses it in the live action trailer. i have just bought it because i have more money than brains. but then again i am a devoted player of metro have been since its release. I think the main reason why i am going all out for the costume is because i am going to eurogamer and the producers of Metro LL will be there!!! I can't wait to impress them!
