    So, I'm going to a cosplay get-together for the first time tomorrow! I'm so excited, it's going to be really awesome. It'll be around anywhere from 40 people to over 100 people. It's primarily a café, but they've got pool and some large areas, as well as three stories in the building. Last time, about half a year ago, I heard there was actually a group of people who cosplayed as Metro2033 Rangers, so I'm looking forward to meeting them if they're there again. Maybe play a game of Metro-pool ;) I'll also have an extra costume ready in case I feel like changing to another costume. (I couldn't choose just one of them, okay? I had to take both).
    Sorry for the bad quality pictures and all the mess in the background, I was just too lazy to actually care.

    Oh, well, seems Photobucket is way too slow to react to my mobile uploads... Guess I'll just post 'em tomorrow before I leave.

    EDIT: Decided not to upload the pictures after all, because honestly, they're horrible. I might gear up again and take some better pictures later. Other than that, the actual event was alright. Nobody else geared up as much as I did, but there were quite a few awesome costumes. Mainly, it was just a bunch of random teenagers hanging out at a cafe, sipping coffee, in all kinds of costumes. Nothin' big :noidea:

    Wow, that's actually one of the better costumes I've seen around here. Actually looks at least moderately ragged and beat-up, unlike a lot of outfits I see posted, and actually somewhat practical (that's a damn nice vest).

    Only nitpick is the wrap around the front barrel. Is it supposed to be camo? Otherwise it doesn't look like it's supposed to be holding it together, and generally speaking, it's good to have as much airflow there as possible. But hey, it's still pretty awesome regardless.

    Front wrap is there to hold my battery cause i am using one i cant fit in my gun.

    Edit:

    my vest is combination of Ballistic Vest from Russia with Czech camo + original Czech Army NPP-2006 vest on shoulder i am using leg holder for pouches for NPP.

    I dont have real ballistic plates in it so i am using old carpet :D

    (prize is around 300 € )

    I'm starting figure out the parts for my personal ranger outfit.. Yet there are many problems i'm facing.
    What is Artyoms gas mask? The closest i found was Russian GP-7
    The Ranger helmet? No where to buy it, but how does it work? is i like gasmask? Is it possible to get it custom made?
    No idea what to do about his watch
    And the weaponry is not easy in Denmark.
    When i get the stuff sorted within next years, i will show the progress.

    The closest thing to Artyom's gas mask you will find is a Drager Panorama Nova. Look around for it on Ebay, but be careful as to what you buy.

    they're pretty rusty and generally crappy but me and my cousin Jo who was the other guy did these after a ten hour night shift, so we were both tired and wanted to get it over with and go home.
    and yes I know the L96 doesn't fit but it was really all I had to use.

    Edit: Took a pic today of all my updated paintball gear since me and my cousin went to a paintball store sale and picked up a few things. HOPEFULLY I'll post them sometime this year... also I ordered a Blue stripped VDV shirt today to finish off my outfit.

    Those are really nice! Don't mind the crappy quality - it just adds atmosphere and makes them look even better. ;)

    We took them with a cellphone so the low light was really a problem. Each pic actually took quite some time since we had to make sure the lighting worked, but thanks :D

    Updated stalker cosplay for MCM This will be updated further for LFCC along with a riot shield. The jacket is dirtied up but shoe polish fades after a while. Must use more.

    It's a respirator I borrowed from my brother. No clue what brand it is, but it's a 3M one.
