    Where Is It?

    Hello everyone! I've been fairly concerned, I started a 2nd play-through rrcently, on ranger hardcore. I have yet to find my RPK, I'm getting mad to be honest, I enjoyed the weapon immensely on my first run. Has anyone else experienced this ? If so, please tell me if you were able to find it at any point in your play-through. Oh, and if it makes any difference, I'm on PS3.

    Just joined and wanted to report the following:


    Game crashes with 75% probability during the refugee chat during the BANDITS part.
    it happens specifically when you buy/sell ammo as they talk.

    Whenever im around fire i get a huge lag. I mean, my fps drops to around 5-6fps. This makes the game unplayable.

    If i press esc to the menu the lag disappears completely till i reenter the game.

    I have a ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series, Quad Core, 8GB Ram and recently updated drivers, so im sure that none of this is the issue.

    Anyone else get this issue?

    PS3 Last Light, quite peed off

    PS3* i bought last light loving it, then last night i try to play it and it freezes at press start screen seen a few people have this problem will you be patching a fix any time soon?
    as i want to carry on with the game thanks

    I swear my game is broken or something, every time I restart from a chapter, all the past diaries are removed.. they appear like I never collected them..
    any idea how I can resolve this (and not having to redo the entire game?)

    edit..
    forgot to mention that after completing venice (when you have to go upstairs towards the swamp)
    the game sort of locks down...
    the guy tells something about "for the bad guys".. but then I cannot go upstairs nor do anything else...!

    Have you by any chance modified "user.cfg" as suggested around internet on few sites? Any modification of default settings, such as aim assist, requires modification of "user.cfg" file and setting it to read-only to prevent game from rewriting it to default. This will cause your diaries and logs to be lost every time your restart the game.

    Messed up hud

    My HUD seems to show some kind of debug at the top, the camera sector, fps, raytrace, memory, shadow, vis fdw, the phys, and others all at the top of my screen. I have no idea how to get rid of it.

    Subtitles missing

    Hey I just installed a copy of Metro Last Light. The problem i am having is i can't seen to enable subtitles. In the options menu, subtitles is checked. Anyone have a fix for this?

    And I seem to keep getting stuck on the part where Artyom and Pavel have to go to the surface. I go to the room and get a shotgun, but nothing happens. I keep walking around and the compass keeps pointing towards Pavel.

    no I didnt, and no idea why that would affect the savegames, quicksaves and chapter files.
    they're different files.

    This may be a silly question, but you did open the locker and put the chemical suit on? Cos you cant go into the swamp without it...

    I tried opening the lockers, noone would open.
    now im stuck in redoing the entire combat mode section..
    wishing the autosaves were more frequent..

    the hand never appeared.

    I will try again tonight and see how it goes.


    *edit*
    update, this time the locker did open correctly and I got the suit, I'm now past catacombs now.

    graphic problem with particles

    Hi, I found one person with this problem, I've got it also:

    "hey, i got a problem with my particles and the muzzle flash when shooting.
    Any ideas? "

    The problem is on the low, normal and high settings, turning to very high solves the problem, but I wish to play on high settings without it :/
    Please help.

    Sound

    Hey guys, I just started playing this game but every time i play it the sound eventually stops, and the characters mouths wont move and the subtitles go away, the game gets stuck until the sound is fixed. Is there any way I can fix this?:rant:

    just wondering, why report it to steam ? steam usually will tell you to "contact the game maker".

    anyway, added my bug to the bug report section in steam.

    I highly doubt it.
    Steam is always doing the classic "check file structure, reinstall game" type approach than develop code to fix the bugs.
    anyway, trying doesn't hurt (which I did already as per my last post)
    :D
