    Worst limited edition I have seen. I wasn't going to pre-order it (and after this I'm definitely not going to) so I'm left without Ranger mode, THANKS THQ! :rant::tsk::mad:

    Ideas like this are ruining the game-industry...

    Right here you have the confirm for my deepst fears.

    I should have known that LL was going to be a fail, since all those delays.
    Also, some of us cheered when they officially dumped the Multiplayer, but that was just a symptom. We should all have seen.

    This is no more an era of games, developed with the work of a handful of "martyrs" who worked 20 hours a day to make something special. This is jst the copy-paste, the maximum profict with the least effort, the brazen cut of a bound that there used to be between the developers and the community.

    I'd say that the plastic cover is more valuable than the content of LL, at this point.

    Not only have they given us a shitty-ass Limited Edition, but they DARED put in it content that we have the RIGHT to enjoy with a normal edition of the game. No concrete trinkets, artbooks or anything. It' already bullshit that we will probably have to pay to have a DLC of the Multiplayer!!!

    In darker times, this offense would have had to be washed with blood. It's the sliest of all insults, the vilest of all betrayals, the most honourless of all actions!

    Yeah, I think yous are overreacting a bit. The Limited Edition is the least of our worries right now... take a peek at how the gameplay looks. :( Now, there's still hope and we shouldn't judge an entire game based on a few minutes and some unreliable info, but what he have seen lately is enough to worry.

    G4TV and Eurogamer seem to state that every copy of the first batch is Limited Edition, so you're most likely not going to lose access to Ranger Mode even if you don't preorder.

    Edit: Hopefully I don't sound too naive, but somehow I thought this community was more rational and mature than the average triple-A equivalent, and yet this is the exact same fanboy reaction... Not saying that I'm not disappointed in this, but still. Calm down.

    As for the gameplay, as long as the hitmarkes and pointless hud elements can be turned off, at least I can't see any major problems in the current footage. It's the feel and atmosphere that made 2033 so excellent, not the gameplay, and you people know it. And right now it looks like 4A has not gone wrong in that department.

    I like to think 4A agrees with us, but they need money from THQ, who are near bankruptcy and see Last Light as their last ditch effort. So, I feel that 4A Games wants what we want, but they are press-ganged into different directions by THQ.

    As for the topic at hand with the Limited Edition and all, I only puked in my mouth once when I read the contents. :wacko:

    Try and get your point across without insulting others if you can. I know your unhappy as am I, but if we want a response from Joe or even Huw (which they don't have to do) then at least try and be a bit more civil.

    What's the dump, exactly, apart from the Limited Edition at first being denied by Joe? Did they actually promise something at some point? Honestly, I haven't followed all the discussions here that closely, so I'd really appreciate links if this is indeed the case.

    Waht is so Bad?!I'm sure that you can turn off Hud.And that Joe said something wrong was obvisouly a mistake.Take the Limited Edition and call it Prepurchase Bonus(and i think you can get Ranger Hardcore mode without Limited Edition).

    (I hope i didn't make to much mistakes^^)

    But like I said, it looks like you don't have to preorder to get the Limited Edition, which doesn't cost any extra. This is IMHO the most important thing, even though I still agree that even this kind of preorder policy shouldn't exist.

    If you're not planning to pick up the game around the release, instead waiting for sales, then I can understand the frustration.

    Listen carefully to Cerberus, folks: if you don't stand your ground, they will walk all over you. The real insult is the sheer disdain for the fans behind this stunt. I see no reason why we should act all humble when at least one of them is a filthy liar.
    I'm very happy to see that Ranger Mode has returned, but the fact that they'd rather deliver it in the same extortionate manner as they did with the 360 version clearly shows that they see each and everyone of you as mere talking wallets full of cash and nothing more.

    At the very least, someone very much owes us an answer and a sincere apology - and make it a valid one, not some rubbish manipulative damage control PR sweet-talk.
