    That child is Artyom for sure. Well i dont see why would they put it if it wasnt our favorite hero that we all used to be at some point :D

    Wrong. Artyom lived on Timiryazevskaya station until it was destoyed by rats in 2018. He was saved by Alex "Sukhoi".

    Yeah, I think this could be Artyom. They never mentioned his childhood in the game (apart from the tiny bit where you see his stepfather), so they might think this has more impact.

    Overall, I loved this. I didn't understand a word of it, I'll have to watch one with subtitles. Also, the song the mother sang to her baby is one which our awesome music teacher taught us in school years ago, I was like "Yeah, I know that song". :)

    The one who came out on the surface, he had a cool outfit :D

    The baby could have been Artyom but the person who came out 20 years later has to be Hunter, Artyom stepped foot on the surface for the first time only with Bourborn in the game.

    In Behind the scenes they say that tried to make it seem logical that the person, who went up to the surface, was the same that was handed to the guard. It seems they failed xD

    I also think that is not the first time for Artyom on surface, it is the surface of the Last light, in 2033, when he went on the surface for the first time, there was snow and ice. In the 2034., the snow begun to melt it, according to one of the previous trailers of the Last light.
