    Well Iv've asked myself this question and I searched up online if there was going to be any sort of multiplayer but im not sure. People have been spreading over the internet that they will be releasing 5 DLC's for Metro and one of them would be multiplayer. They also explained that this would be coming out 6 months after the game was released. So if this is true, we have to be patient and see if this true.

    Well, if the game could be optimized well i think they could add the surface too with AI driven demons/mutants.
    Dark Ones could support you if you need.
    Well for a singleplayer game i think that an MMO could be awesome.

    And expansions could be set in other cities, like Kiev, Minsk, St. Petersburg, or in other countries.
