Metro Roleplay part 2

"No roach" i wispered "This is to risky, if we go thrugh the camp we go in silent, but since the majority of the group picked mutants over nazis we go with the mutants, now calm down, and take back your barret the flash off the lenses can give us away", "Now follow me. We went through what was suppposed to be a supermarket once, now its a ransaked bulding just like the rest, it smelled of death inside it and on the ground frozen blood where paving the way, there where a few bodies in it, slashed and riped to bits, then looking back to the others i said "Damn, these quys where quite in for a choppin' hehe, keep your guard up were in deep shit here, watch the corners and keep calm, if something happens do as i say"

 

I let out a small groan and put my barret on my back and followed the rest, as we went through the supermarket the smell of rotten flesh and decomposing bodies did not effect me because back when I was a lower ranking nazi I was made to guard the prisoner section of my station, (you see the nazi create a small village for their prisoner instead of keeping them in a prison.)It stank of death and shit and I guarded that place for two years so it was just a normal smell by then.

 

Bullets were fast and powerful, but they would not do enough harm in time if a beast approached from close by, which was highly possible inside this building. Using my tranquilizer would probably not do much to mutants. Their bodies worked differently from ours, that's also why they could take much more hits than us humans. I did not have many syringes left anyway; I would not waste them on a few mutants when there are that many of them, and we would not need them alive but unconcious anyway. Rather dead.

I attached my P90 to my backpack before I slowly pulled out my katana to prevent any sound. It still made a long lasting sound of metal being dragged against metal. I did not take notice if any of the others noticed me pulling it out, because I was too anxious about the loud groaning I heard from somewhere above us in the building. I never looked at one direction for a long while. Constantly moved my head around at the spots that my team-mates did not secure.

I attempted to keep my focus, but I kept thinking about the incident when Wolf saved me from the Demon on the rooftop. I believe I would have managed to take the beast down by myself, but it was still a brave and heroic act that I appreciated that he did. I was troubled that I had not repayed him in any way.

 

"Long or short version?i asked Boris"

 

Boris suddenly asked the question that I had been wondering about myself aswell, though this was not the proper moment to do so. Then, he surprisingly sat down as we were in the middle of the large market-room. Old destroyed Booths and small walls everywhere, like a maze. I did not like it; I did not feel safe from any angle at all. But I kept my mouth closed, for I was not there to point out others' acts. I had to laugh a little inside me. What Boris did was quite foolishly done, but he knew it, so at the same time, he was very brave. Then another groan was heard..

 

"Hey, guys, what the hell, lets get moving!" I said nervously. Damn, I hated the surface, but some stupid fascination kept pulling me back, drawing my soul to this destroyed and corrupted world. Yet every time I came up here, I regretted it. I walked over to a doorway, and checked it. Nothing. There was a sound somewhere above us, something moving. Something big.

Vlad and Boris were both leaders, both choleric as hell and naturally wanting to be in charge. Benjamin was like that too, but he kept it in check, even if he didn't realize it. Myself, sh*t, I never wanted to be in charge, too much responsibility, and crap like what was happening right now. "Guys" I said "Come on!"

 

I waited patiently for Boris to answer but i got no respons, then i heard a screech, grawl whatever it sounded like, looking up through the skylights i saw a bitch trying to go through the bars that were built to support the glass, grabbing wolf by the hand i pulled him up on his feet and shouting "Get up Wolf, chit chat time is over, Steven get the group over by the hole in the ground north of here there is a pipe there leading to a deserted building wait for me there, i will distract this bitch to give you some time" after that i walked up the stair shooting at the bitch to give steven a chance to get the group to safety, untill i reached the roof.

Steven seemed anxious to leave. I did not blame him for so; I felt the same way myself, I just hid it. Then there was suddenly a winged beast at a hole in the roof, attempting to get through to us. Vlad commanded Boris to lead me and Steven to a hole, through a tunnel and into another building. I looked over at Boris that had already started walking fast. The most spine-cracking and hidious groan came from behind me. I instinctively span around, slashing the katana right through a mutant's upper back while it was in mid-air, charging at me. It died, but knocked me over at the same time. I lost my katana, and it slided a couple of meters away from me while the beast landed beside me. That was when I noticed the other mutant that was leaning backwards, ready to charge me. I could only count on Steven or Boris, or else I'd be shredded apart.

 

Damn me i made the corections i was speaking to Boris, and skaara i told steven to lead not boris

 

(Hey, Boris, you betrayed us? How?)

"Uh, guys, this situation is getting bad fast! Why the hell did we split up? Damn it, lets just go!" I couldn't stand being leader, but the chaos needed someone to do it, and everyone else seemed to caught up in trivial and imaginary squabbles. "Okay, we'll take this pipe. If anything, it'll get us away from those things" I said, nodding at the growls from above. Not waiting for an answer, I turned my torch on and carried on into the pipe, my blood boiling. What was happening to our group, and why was Vlad being so... so thickheaded? A leader shouldn't pick fights with the group, any idiot knew that.

I told myself to forget about it, concentrate on surviving, and try to keep everyone under control.

 

I ignored the bickering that was going on behind me, I could sense movement ahead, I was at the front of the group so I stopped at but my hand up as a sign for the others to stop, they did. I quickly put on my night vision goggles and then put up one finger to tell the group to stay and then I began to slowly walk forward as I did I heard a growl not a normal growl though this one was....bigger I saw some of the group take a few steps back I didn't care. you see when I was a Nazi they tuaght me something you shouldn't care how big or dangerous the enemy is because the real enemy is fear, so I blocked out my fear over time till nothing scared me that's when I could escape from the Nazis. I was still surprised that no one had asked me about the whole Nazi thing. It was clear so I waved my hand to signal the group that they could come.

 

Boris you kinda complicated it abit i said go down into the hole through the pipe and you will arive in a deserted building and i said for you guys to wait me there. And you like to disobey orders, i know where i have to go but u made it more hard to do :/ and you kinda overpower everything u meet in ur way, and Boris you allreay shot abit so wont that make Nazis hear the shots hmm?
Wilst attracting the bitches attention Boris came back to help, which was not necessary i knew what i had to do, but there was no time to argue he grabed my hand and we ran as fast as we could to the hole where the others would be.

 

I'll have to agree with Vlad on this one, guys.. There should only be one pipe in the northern part of the building as Vlad said. No need to complicate things :3
But yes, you do actually kind of powergame now and then, Boris :3 Not always though
It's better with many short threads than few long ones when it comes to acting/action. Remember that you can't make decisions for the others' characters in even the smallest situation. Roleplay is relaxed and slow-tensed, so everyone gets a chance to do what they want to do. Roleplay is about the personalities of the characters and all the details in environments and feelings. It's not about the action, we've got shooter games for that
Boris fired two rounds into the head of the beast that was running towards me before another one jumped out and slammed him into the wall. It then ran away. After that, he ran to get Vlad while I re-equipped myself with my katana. He came back with Vlad, and on we headed to the pipe. Roach went first, I covered our rear.

 

as we walked through the pipe it seemed familiar, like I'v been here before but I couldn't figure out where we where. as we continued the pipe just stopped. "hmmm" I said thinking, then my eyes widened and I quickly looked up, there was a vent seal. I smashed it with my ak-47 for awhile and it eventually came lose and fell of I climbed up into a corridor "shit" I whispered I knew where we where. The library...


EPIC TWIST!

 

As we ascended from the pipe, we were in a quite large building with many shelves. Shelves with books. It seemed that we were in a library. I had heard a few strange tales of the library. That it possessed creatures one would never want to face. creatures that were seen no other place. I didn't like it, and neither was I going to.

Ahhh, there we are, were here, now you guys need to be carefull in this building, there are a number of not so nice mutants that inhabit the Science Library, mainly librariens, if you didnt hear about them heres the quick and short version, if you meet one look straight in their eyes and dont move, if he gets impatient walk slowly back abit but keep still, after he will leave, guess we will apear boring eh? Anyway the trap door is on the second floor of this library, the lifts are "unavailable" so we will go the manly way, staircase to Heaven haha which is on the left side of the main hall you cant miss it" saying that we entered the library carefully not to attract any unwanted attention, looking back to the team i saw that they dont trust me, but this is far more than just personal gain, we need to stop this...whatever the cost.
