Metro Roleplaying part 1

I woke up at around 6:30 a.m. - according to my watch. I think I was the second to get up. I went back to the main room and greeted Boris. We spoke for a while about the mission ahead, then I went to get something to eat. Later I sat down, all packed and ready to go. Now it was just a matter of waking up the others. To not wake them from their dreams too abruptly, I took out my harmonica and started playing music on it. Maybe the melody would gradually wake them up. It was now 7 in the morning.

 

the slow Suttle music of the harmonica slowly brought me out of my slumber,I slowly got up leaving the warm bed,I streached my limbs and yawned before leaving my room and being greeted by wolf and boris.. sorry for any spelling errors I'm on my iPod atm.

 

I didnt get much sleep, I was still thinking on the my past, wich I was so kindly reminded of twice yesterday. Kinda hard to accept that it was all gone though. And some relief too.

I woke up to wolf playing on his harmonica, so I joined him with my guitar before I ate my breakfast. It was quite fun to play with someone else although.

My breakfast consisted of soom bioled shrooms, mixed up with some powder that was meant to replace flour, so it turned out to be some kind of porridge. Tasted better than most of the food I've tried before.

 

Someone was playing the harmonica, forcing us to get up. I hadn't slept in a proper bed for days, and it was a battle to open my eyes, stretch, and then get up. I grabbed my bag, checked my Kalash, and realised I was hungry. But since I had no food, I decided that it'd have to wait. I sat down on the couch and waited for the others to start.

 

I had some leftover oatmeal and offered it to the others. I put all my other remaining items back in my bag and packed up. "If you guys are comming with me were going throught the western tunnel on the hansa line to get to Oktyabarskaya Station. Thats were the officer is at. well interrogate him. Get the info on when they are going to perform the operation and then we're gonna head out to University. And then who knows were well go after that." "I recon u guys eat up. Todays gonna be busy. But dont worry about hansa i have a pass to get into it." ​

Once again, Boris had revealed information for me. This information being spreaded to me, was not going to cause any greater threat than the one already existing, but this man should be more careful when it comes to spreading information though. I had been sitting there for a few hours or so, not knowing when they were about to leave. But now that I knew their exact route, I could move there in good time before them. Realising that they were just about to leave, I picked up my equippments and was on my way.

 

I shook my head at the food one of my Comrades offered me, "No thanks, I already ate. Best to save whatever you've got for later in case anyone runs out." I told Boris. For a moment I fell silent... I felt like we were being watched. Were we? No, I've had this feeling before. Best to forget about it and cheer up in any way I can. So I joined thuner who was still playing his guitar, sat down next to him and started playing the harmonica in tune with his melodies. Playing music with someone else was an extraordinary feeling. I usually travelled alone and whenever I felt a little down, I'd get my harmonica out and start playing happy melodies... but when you had someone with another instrument, playing the music with you, it was something wholly different. It was like a flame inside me was awoken and now wants out. This strong feeling gave me hope for our journey, survival, life... the future of mankind. I knew that this pleasantly amazing feeling would pass as soon as we left for our objective, but I tried not to think about it and savored the moment as well as I could while it lasted.

 

I put my barret on my back and picked up my small bag and ak.
"we ready to go?"I asked them.

 

"Yeah", I said, hoisting my bag onto my back and double-checking my kalash to make sure everything was in order. I had a bad feeling about the near future, but couldn't see any reason for it: we were all well armed and stealth wasn't really a problem. Probably just nerves...

 

"Ok lets have 5 minutes to get our final preporations ready, then we move out," i announced getting up.
By the way guys, haha im kind confused are we in a small room next to a tunnel? or are we not in the metro at all? And what station are we closest too or are in at the moment? sorry but i just realizes that i have no idea...Thanks

 

Honestly I'm not sure either, lol. Anyway, it's gonna be a long way and your characters should take a rest or two at some stations, perhaps a bar or two

 

I'm guessing that was a way of hinting when your stalking character will appear.

 

I wrote *hint hint* in the of the sentence, but backspace'd it 'cause It'd seem too revealing. *fail*

 

We're on to you, skaara. Feel free to kill me, if you like, we can't all live forever! It adds to the excitement.

We trudged out of the room, our pockets filled with ammo. The bad feeling still hung over me, and I supressed a sudden urge to go the other way. I was hired to do this, so I was going to do it!

 

i got up got ready and took a deep breath, "lets go" i said. and we jumped onto the tunnel and began our journey to find what we were looking for. and university.

 

btw guys i added a map to show the progress.

day 1 - Went frm Riga to surface and hid in a tunnel and met new people

day 2 - Went from hideout into hansa territory and .....

ill update this every once in a while (every day in roleplay) and that way we can keep in track. The map will always be in a file below my text hope this helps somewhat...

 

ALSO im gonna change the map from the REAL map of moscow to the METRO 2033 Map of Moscow. so that way u know were the nazis are and the reds and etc. haha sry for so many posts

Okay...

The dim light of our torches flickered on the tunnel walls, out footsteps crunching on the gritty concrete and dusty bones of creatures long dead. A vague shape leaned against the wall. Holding my kalash at the ready, I approached the figure, then recognized the sight of ragged clothes hanging over thin, dry bones. It had been picked clean, this wasn't a lost tunnel, people used it frequently.
Something stirred in the back of my mind, some terror, from when I had travelled madly, mindlessly, from Exhibition (see my backstory, post #6), the things I saw in the darkness. I shuddered. The bad feeling was growing worse. I ran to catch up to the others...
