I folded my hands together on my back and stood up straight. "I managed to overhear your suggestion about travelling to Kievskaya station on foot from here. That is the location that I was heading for, but as you might have noticed, this train will not be going there too soon. I am also eager to lift my feet and move my legs. I would also do so, if it wasn't for the fact that one man, like myself, would not stand a chance to get there. But on the other hand, now that you are doing so, I was wondering if I would be allowed to travel with you there? Just for.. safety, of course" I asked and chuckled a little in the end of the last sentence.

I was glad the men I was travelling with didn't have hearts of stone and could spare a little time & sympathy for a troubled person's tale. I brought myself together, threw the sad thoughts out the back of my head and jumped off the train with the others. When I heard that we won't make it to University by the end of the day, I was just as disappointed as Boris looked. But then a stranger spoke to us, introducing himself. He seemed a little fishy (as in, my character felt that something wasn't right about him). I felt the same way back at Roach's place, when I thought we were being observed. I looked at the man, studying his appearance and then spoke, "Well, what is your name stranger? We have to know who we will be travelling with." I smiled, but secretly squeezed my pistol, just in case he made a wrong move.

"Ah, I apologize for the latency of my introduction. Benjamin Soprano is my name. I am what you would refer to as a 'freelancer'; I have no usual area, I tend to travel a lot, and my intentions could not harm a flie" I said, hoping to not get a "no".

I looked at the others with a wierd look and finnaly agreed, "sure why not, we can use more hands. however," i looked at him cautiously, "we're on a mission which involves........killing. And its kind of a secret to the Nazis and Reds. Even Hansa cant really know about it." I looked at Benjamin with a threat. There was something about his personality and looks that i didnt like and trust. I looked at Wolf, "Hey wolf, would you mind telling him about our objective? He can come. But i gotta find the entrance to the surface." And we left. While Wolf was briefing Benjamin I lead the group to a small room next to the tunnel. We wer gonna go onto the surface.

"I do not require to re-posess such knowledge, for I am already in posession of it. All I am seeking for is a.. safe.. leading hand to the station, and that is all" I said in a friendly way before Wolf was able to brief me. I walked up beside Boris. "Boris, you have a noble mission. Do you really suppose that going to Hansa will help you?" I asked. He looked strangely at me. "-Or is there simply nothing else to believe?" I continued with a deeper voice.

"Nevermind that," i said looking at Benjamin, "we should get going". I led them through a small room into another. It was pretty dark inside and required us to turn on our flashlights. It was 2 30 pm. The corridors led through rat infested hallways miles long that streched onto the other stations and tunnels. It was a very unpleasent place to be in: dark, cold, and rats evreywhere. We continued walking for 10 minutes until we reached a small lader going up to a hatch. "Put on you gas masks," i comanded as we climbed up the long ladder. "You might be able to notice the Kremlin, if you dont know already dont look at it." We opended the hatch and were inside a destroyed building. Cold. miserable. Surface.....

When we got to the surface, I said out loudly, proudly and mostly to nobody with my last breath while looking at the ruins of humanity's previous life: "A shrine to hope. Even in these times, we cannot relinquish the things that make us human". I folded my dreadlocks back in a ponytail and put my old S10 gas mask with tinted lenses over my face.
    Oh, and Boris:

we began to walk down the staircase onto the street. This street, it seemed, had no danger at all. no mutants, no nothing. so we began to walk south down Alexandrevaskaya street (actual street that goes south to kievskaya station). We passed many tall building destroyed completely by bombardments. It was a shocking sight. " This street might seem safe but dont you dare go inside the buildings, there are stuff in them that even veteran Rangers are afraid of." We continued to walk. I am a very tough person to be around with when im on the surface. And i sensed that everybody noticed that. It was surprisingly dark outside even tho it was around 3 pm. The clouds were thick with ash and not a single beam of light penetrated them. It was about 2 miles to Kievskaya. And it seemed that way until a "Demon" flew with lightning speed toward me picked me up and carried me off onto the roof. I quickly picked up my AK and shot as many rounds into it as i could. But the bitch already penetrated my stomach with its razor sharp claws and cracked my gasmask. I could still breath through the filter. The last thing i saw was my own blood gushing out of my body........as i went into shock and lost conciousness. I thought i was dead.......

"Boris!" I screamed, the sound muffled by my gasmask. I dragged my kalash up to my shoulder, it seemed to take forever, and then stopped my finger. I would only shoot him along with the demon. "Damn damn damn!" I yelled, looking around at the others, who were also frustrated at not being able to help Boris. "What the hell are we gonna do guys?!" I felt blind panic seize my mind, and tried to calm myself.

Oh, damn, so I did. Cheers for pointing it out! I'll keep it in mind, now. I've edited my post, so now it makes sense.

'"Boris, you have a noble mission. Do you really suppose that going to Hansa will help you?" I asked. He looked strangely at me. "-Or is there simply nothing else to believe?" I continued with a deeper voice.' Ha ha ha! This cracked me up. Ha ha!

As I was not an experienced fighter able to handle the frustrating pressure, I was not aware of what to do. I quickly looked around me. I noticed a staircase on the outside of the building that lead to the roof where Boris was lying beneath the beast. "Let us move!" I shouted, pointing at the staircase while running towards it. I did not do much thinking. All I knew was that the faster we got close enough to shoot the monster, the greater would the chances of his survival be.
LATER ADDED: I sprinted for the staircase, grabbed the rusty old handle on it and ran up as fast as I was able to. I jumped from the third step to the next third step all the way up. It felt like it took me forever. The thought of an important man getting shredded pointlessly apart made my forehead sweaty. When I was at the top of the building, I was at the other side of the roof from the beast. It had a huge bite around his left arm. I put my hand to behind my head and grabbed around the handle of my good old trusty katana. I had had it since I was only seven years old and once again, I was to use it. I slowly pulled it out with my heart beating faster and faster. I lifted it, pointing it at the beast which seemed busy with Boris. "HEY!" I yelled loudly through my gasmask. It wasn't loud, but loud enough for the beast to notice me. I aimed my sword forward at it while staring deeply into its eyes. I slowly walked closer, away from the edge of the roof. It roared at me. I hadn't seen if any of the others had followed me up or not. I was hoping for my life for them to be covering me. Perhaps they were on their way, just that they used a little longer in the stairs than me. Little did I know at that time as the beast gained speed towards me.

Idk if you guys maybe think that this makes my character a little too... idk, chuck norris? xP Either way, it's the best that I can come up with. You choose yourself if you show up behind me or not. And btw, Boris, do you want to be dead, or just badly wounded..?

I ran up the stairs as fast as I could, almost falling over. I wouldn't let two people die this day. As I looked in awe at Benjamin's badass, samurai-like pose with an awesome katana, I was not sure what to do. He looked so confident, but the beast he was about to face was a bloody demon! I had no idea whether he knew how to use this weapon or not, but as soon as I saw the beast charging at Benjamin, I knew I wasn't going to gamble his life by waiting to find out. I threw him back, jumping in front and unleashing a round of automatic fire from my assault rifle in the monster's torso. It stopped for a moment, then grabbed me and picked me up with full might... I was flying. The ground was at least fifteen meters below me. I thought my life was about to end anyway, so I reached for a sticky bomb and stuck it right onto the beast's face. Surprisingly, the beast let go of me. It must have lowered its flight, because somehow I had survived the fall. However, all I could see was the beast exploding into a hundred shreds of flesh and a cloud of blood, raining from the air on my face. I lost consciousness.

In amazement of this man's brave and heroic deed, I stood up from the little fall. I picked up my sword and slung it back into its holster with a 'ching'-sound while looking up at the man being flewn away. Surprisingly enough, the Demon dropped him on a higher rooftop, just a few secounds before it exploded into thin air. Wolf was now laying on top of a tall church-like tower, barely not falling from the edge. It took me a while before I gathered my senses. I ran over to Boris and looked at his bloody body before I bendt down and felt his pulse. It was still beating, but barely. I pointed at Steven that was the last one to the rooftop. "I will do what I am able to for Boris, whilst thou must find a way to get Wolf down from there. Perhaps there is a staircase, or god forbid, a ladder inside that tower. Go, now!" I loudly and clearly commanded. Steven had a determined face expression that was ready and did not want to leave those souls behind as he ran down the staircase. I, myself, put Boris' body over my shoulders, holding his arms in my right hand and his legs in my left as I quickly, but carefully ran down the stairs. It did not take long before I found our way inside of the building and got into a safe small room where I pulled off my backpack and started to treat the poor man.

Nodding at Benjamin, I went to find an entrance to the tower. I desperately prayed that Wolf wouldn't slide off the gently sloping roof. If that happened, this expedition was screwed. My heart pounding, I found a door.
It was dark inside, and my torch illuminated only a small feeble circle. Holding my kalash at the ready, I scanned the room, and began moving into the inky darkness. The sudden silence after the commotion, broken only by my breathing through the gas-mask, was terrifying. I jumped as a rat ran past me. Then I walked on.
There was a wooden staircase circling up the tower's interior, lit by the smashed windows in the walls. Luckily, it looked like the entire structure was stable and wouldn't collapse in the near future. Jogging up the stairs, I wondered what would happen to us. I cursed the damned surface under my breath. Why did something happen every time we came here? It was like someone was writing about us, playing with us as if we were just characters in a story...
I reached the top, and saw Boris. He was drenched in blood, literally. I was shocked, and then remembered seeing the demon explode. Leaning out the window, I could just reach his coat. I dragged him toward me, then swore. The window was too small! He would never fit! I noticed the roof was smashed wide open, but I'd need some kind of sling to lift him from the ledge he was lying on.
I checked the bricks, and tried hammering them loose with the butt of my kalash. They were loose, but this could take half-an-hour, and my gun would suffer from it. I looked around, and that's when I saw it.

The tower was filled with dead grass. It had obviously been brought up here years ago, as it had turned a dull gray. And sitting in the corner was an egg. It was nearly black, and came up to my knee. "Oh shit..." I whispered.

I don't know if demon's lay eggs, but it could be anyone's egg.
