The wind howled in the silent street, and I felt myself tensing as the wait began. Forcing myself to relax, I scanned the surrounding buildings. They seemed empty, but it was always good to keep an eye on your surroundings.

we went to kievskaya via a train, but were forced to walk because of a collapsed tunnel. I and Wolf got injured heavily because of a demon. We came to kievskaya and wierd stuff were going on there. We left kievskaya and interogated 2 nazis in the tunnel before Dobrininskaya. After we refueled we went outside to a urban hotel to take down a nazi officer. Me and Wolf are going stealth into the building. Benjamin and Michael are sniping enemies from another buildings roof. And Steven is guarding Michael and Benjamin.

You can go with Benjamin? Or do you want to guard them.
Just read the previous posts and youll get an idea of whats going on :)

Me and Wolf began to approach the huge building we managed to slip by some guards without them noticing. We entered through another building near the hotel and began to climb up when we saw a guard looking throught the window. I took out my knife and silently took care of him. We continued through the house until we came upon a crack about 2 stories high. Below it was a dumbster, one of those big ones, filled with dirty abandoned clothing, all covered in some sort of liquid. I began to recon the area until we heard a sound in the room behind us. I crept up to the door and peeked out and saw a guard approaching our current position. "Shit! We have to jump man!" i whispered to him. We came to the edge of the building and i looked down. It was a long drop. I hesitated but when we heard the footsteps coming closer i, in instinct, jumped first feet down. "Come on Wolf!" i said almost in a hearable voice. The Hotel was right behind us and had the back entrance lightly guarded by 2 guards with wierd looking weapons. Maybe even Shotguns but had laser sights on them. I have never seen a weapon like this before. I looked up again and waited for Wolf to jump down 2.5 stories into the dumpster.

I crouched by the ground floor window of the tall building, and held my breath as, looking down the street, I saw Boris jump down into the back of a large vehicle. What the hell? Then I saw a Nazi scout approaching my building. He hadn't seen me, hadn't seen any of us. He walked through the doorway pretty calmly, and slumped to the ground as I buried my knife to the hilt. I dragged his body (damn it was heavy) around into a smaller room, and went back to my post.

I and Michaeal had made our way to the top of the stairs now. "Will it ever end?!" I asked rehorically as I kicked open the door on the roof. The wind was blowing the cold air at our faces on the snowy roof. We made our way in a crouching position over to the edge. There was some sort of power-box there, taller than myself. We layed down on the edge, and I looked over at the building where Boris and Wolf was, with the binoculars. Strangely enough, I could see Boris jumping out from 2.5 stores high, landing in a dumpster, with Wolf above him with a hesitative look on his face, from what I could tell through the binoculars. "What the hell..?" I mumbled before I lowered the binoculars and looked over at Michael Laying beside me on his stomach. "Boris and Wolf are jumping out of the building" I said to him before I looked back into the binoculars in tention.

I think I will go with Benjamin. I had been very quiet for along time, I was never a talker I just like to keep quiet and do what I needed to do. I clutched my barret 50. and held my breath looking down the scope and scanning for my next target, the frost was beginning to spread across my scope.I sighed from loss of breath.

I think my character will be one of those silent bad asses :p every story needs one.

With Michael and Roach both laying there with each their rifle, I suddenly realized that I did not do much use myself. But then again, we were many, and I was quite a well scout for us if anyone arrived from the distance undetectively. So while Michael and Roach watched the area within the hotzone, I took my while to study the surroundings, making sure there would not be an undetected threat.

The building that we where on was in a big C shape, right now we where on one of the tips,I decided to spread myself out slowly moving away from the other two. At first they where confused but they realized what I was doing. I got the the middle in the best possible place and set up. but there was a huge hole that opened up to the lower floor so I need to be careful.

It took me a few seconds to stop hesitating and jump down. After all, my legs were still not in full working order after that demon dropped me on the roof a few days ago, but I risked it and jumped after Boris. Thankfully, the clothing really did reduce the impact and I was lucky to land with only a few bruises. Boris didn't look hurt at all, so everything was alright. I kept quiet, holding the pain in without releasing a single groan.

If you're going to join the roleplay, then you need to get a character of your own into the story somehow.
If you just want to chat OOCly in the thread, I'm not sure. Maybe hear what the others have to say first.

Feel free to join, just say "I heard the sound of gunfire in the distance, so picking up my revolver I went to check it out" or something like that. You can also make a complete character in the Character Thread (under Roleplaying). :)

The main column of the caravan came into view, two makeshift trucks with machine-gun turrets positioned on the top. The rest of the soldiers walked in a wide, basically organized group. I couldn't see the officer... oh, there he was, he was a little separate from the main group, by on of the trucks with a personal bodyguard. There were about 50 or so men. After all, it was a colony-party. This was going to be one hell of a battle!

(Guys, add your own details and stuff, or maybe change some of these, as you will).

As I scrolled over the land I finally came across the face of the officer, my eyes widened I felt despair and anger fill my mind. I let out a huge sigh, not from loss of breath but from anger. For this man.... was the man who and slaughtered my family right in front of me, laughed at there screams of agony and plea's for mercy. I clenched my teeth my eyes and gun locked on this mans head every inch of my being wanted me to squeeze the trigger and watch his head explode into a mass of blood and flesh, but I managed to hold myself back for the sake of the team.

I though heard the sound of gunfire in the distance, I picked Spike my old and trusty VSV and i went to check it out, my name is Vladimir, "Joker" for the ones who know me personaly and this is the start of my journey into the unknown. . Walking slowly along the wall where I took shelter i spoted a caravan guarder by a few dozen soldiers, it was heavily armed so I kept some distance from it, if they spot me I am as good as dead.

Hearing Roach's sigh, I knew that there was something deeper to this. I noticed how his finger was laying tightly around the trigger. I looked back into the binoculars and noticed another man hiding against a wall, from the caravan approaching. If this man was a wreckless rebel, the whole plan could get ruined. I managed to stay calm, knowing that no one were ignorant enough to attack such a large group all by himself.

Thinking back to my past I remembered that my brother joined an unknown group of soldiers, he never told me why he joined it or even why he decided to leave me to fend for myself, i just hope that he is allright but if he is part of this group i better stay away from it, last time we met it allmost ended up in me being killed by him, checking again to analyse the convoy i noticed a flash on one the buildings, did they spot me? i wispered to myself, thinking for the worst i went inside the building up the stairs to the roof, if they did spot me, i can rapell down the side of the building, hopefully i can get out of this alive

    Nice intro, Vlad! Very smooth.

As I crouched just by the window, I felt a headache coming. Oh sh*t, this was not good. Ever since my mindless wanderings in the tunnels, and the terrible things I experienced there, I had been having spastic nightmares and hallucinations (like at the last station).

And they were always preceded by a headache.

If I started shooting, or yelling, the whole plan, and all of our lives, could be destroyed. Damn it, I was in charge of protecting the guys up top, and here I was losing my bloody mind! I tried to calm down, but the dull throb in my temple was not diminishing. I clenched my teeth, put my kalash on the ground, and concentrated on the soldiers. If I saw something weird, I'd just remember what was real, who the real enemy was. Until this feeling passed, I wouldn't touch the gun, either.

Wolf dropped into the dumpster with me and we covered each other with the clothing as the guard looked down onto the dumpster. He didsnt spot us. We jumped out and approached the back entrance. I hid behind a small wall and we shot the two guards guarding the door with our silentced weapons. We rushed to them and we dragged them into the dumpster and covered their bodies with clothing. We began up the stairs of the building to the 3rd floor and continued that way until we reched the elevator shaft. Surprisingly there were very little guards here if not none. I lookd inside the elvevator and there was nothing inside. I crept inside it with wolf and the engine moved down a couple feet making a huge and loud screech. A guard approached us but we hid behind the small area next to the door. I shot him in the head with my ak and dragged his body inside. We closed the doors and opened the top hatch. We climbed out and began to climb the rest of the 10 stories by cable and the walls. Suddenly, the elevator collapsed and fell 5 stories into the the basement and plunging us in a cloud of dust. Three guards approached the elevator door and opened it. They looked down, said something to each other and left. We were jidden by the cover of the dust. It was a long and painful climb.....

It looks like our character share similar histories. Wolf's family was also slaughtered by Nazis (right in front of him) but not by this officer in person. :p By the way, it's nice to see you're touching on some backstory. If you want to read backstories of other character (or write one for your own character), remember to visit the 'Character Thread' and post your stuff there. I'm always interested in reading some more about the members of this group. :) By the way, Von is right - that's a very good intro Vlad. I was hoping that you wouldn't introduce yourself as one of the Nazis because that would complicate things quite a bit, so I'm glad you didn't. xD

Boris acted like a professional in stealth. I had experience, but he was obviously a veteran of some sort; waiting for the right moment to advance, with patience & skill. He reminded me of my father, as he was the eldest of our group, often taking on the role of leader. However, I saw that things were getting hot out there. Looking up at our sniper and his spotter (as well as Steven, who seemed to be acting strangely - like he was experiencing some kind of headache) in the windows of the building. So I decided that we could not wait any longer and it was time to act.

I tapped Boris on the shoulder, as a way of signalling him that I'm about to move on and then advanced forward. Once I led us out onto a slightly more open area, out of the space in between the buildings and away from the enemy's reach, we quickly devised a plan. We came up with some good tactics and we both played a part in creating what was about to happen... though it was up to the snipers (Roach and Michael) to execute most of it and finish it off, as we would later see.

We slipped around the long way, away from patrolmen and scouts, but still fairly quietly in case there was someone nearer than we thought. Within a short minute or two, Boris and I were behind the trucks whilst the officer was giving his speech. There was a large crowd before the leader - a crowd of brainwashed youths and sadistic cowards… it was our job to stop them. I took out my headlamp and leaned out of cover to light it up in the direction of our snipers a few times, to get their attention. I succeeded, though one of the enemy snipers must have seen one of the ending flashes, as I spotted him getting a little suspicious.

Our comrades had scopes attached to their weapons, so they could see what I was doing. I pointed to the barrels and crates full of explosive substances that the Nazis had idiotically stashed there, but then quickly put my open hand in front of me, as in telling them not to shoot the objects now but wait for the right moment to fire later. Then I quickly went over our plan with Boris, and he thought that we should start the show with grenades. As it turned out, it was a great idea.

Seconds after the Nazi bastard began giving his "proud" speech, Boris and I threw grenades over the trucks and then ran as fast as we could around the vehicles in order to get behind the officer. The plan worked at first, everyone was disoriented and an eight of the men gathered there were either dead or severely wounded by the small explosions. Boris was the first to act with swiftness & finesse; shooting both of the officer's kneecaps. The disoriented and terrified leader fell to the ground. I rushed to him. He was reaching for his pistol with his right hand. Out of instinct and not thought, I slashed at him with my knife and cut off all of the officer's fingers from his right hand. I was shocked, as I was acting without thought and didn't even realize what I had done, but he was already screaming. At least he was disarmed and would not be able to shoot with his hand anymore.

I kicked his pistol away and grabbed him violently, using his body as a human shield (whilst holding my long, machete-like blade to his throat). Most of the Nazis didn't dare risk their officer's life by attempting to shoot me. However, if it wasn't for Boris who was standing right behind me and quickly disposing of those who did dare, I would not have made it out of there with the officer alive. Time suddenly felt like it was slowing down. I kept the knife to the officer's throat closely so that he would not even think of trying to crawl away, and Boris was exchanging gunfire with some of the Nazis who were dumb enough to shoot at us whilst we had their leader. Now it was time for the snipers to shoot the explosives which were conveniently positioned all around the Nazi crowd and their trucks... it was all up to them, and without them, we would not get off that stage alive and with the officer in our hands.

I'm interested to see how you choose to play this next bit out, snipers. ;)
